Silence, no sound at all. Helena's dungeon hadn't made a sound at all since Dean had come on a rampage. Even with the few monsters that were still alive in the small cage, they were silent. Including Helena who was dripping blood from her chest.
Dean Volton, that man was crazy. Rumor had it, he often ignored his surroundings and had a very cold impression. That was how he grew up, Helena knew that. However, when it came to the dog he had raised since childhood, Dean became sensitive.
"That boy who I knew used to resort to killing now doesn't hesitate to take lives anymore." Helena muttered as she sat in front of the table where Willy had been lying.
Dean had already left with Willy. Helena was left with a gaping wound on her chest from Dean's claws. It would regenerate quickly, but it was to her heart. The regeneration would slow down a bit.
Helena laughed as she enjoyed the solitude in the basement. Surely Dean would be surprised at how Willy had changed because of his blood.
"Ah, to hell with those creatures that aren't clear between dog, wolf or tiger."
On the other hand, Dean ran through the forest and jumped over some trees quickly. He had to get to a doctor, healer, or anyone who could help Willy. Dean would ask the guild vice president.
It was still late afternoon, Dean was running like crazy in his half-beast mode. He arrived near the Tryton Kingdom gate and quickly changed his appearance to that of a normal human again, then ran quite fast.
Brak!
The guild office door was slammed by him. Dean ran towards the floor above where the guild vice president was. Once there, he immediately without hesitation kicked the door of the guild vice president's office.
"Gosh, who dares to interfere?!"
The shout rang out loudly. Dean went inside with Willy's body. Inside the office, there wasn't just the guild vice president.
"Oh, it's you, Dean. Mind your manners, there's a guild president here!" The guild vice president immediately told him to act politely.
Dean ignored his orders and bluntly said, "Where's the place for someone who can heal animals?"
The vice guild president felt strange about the question. He replied, "What are you asking for? Ah, your pet?"
Dean did not reply and just waited for the guild vice president to speak. However, his guest, who was said to be the guild president, immediately replied, "There's no use for a dog that survived decades and took that critical hit."
"Willy is not a dog."
Dean's words made the guild vice president justify his sitting position. He then commented, "Are you going to say that he is your family and not just a dog?"
Dean was silent. He stepped towards the two who were only separated by a small table. There was tea and some separate documents there.
Brugh!
The table was split into two with just one blow from Dean. It made the two people who were chatting earlier surprised. Dean had to support Willy's body with one hand while breaking the table.
"What are you doing—"
The guild vice president's words were interrupted when he saw Dean's hand. That man showed a change in his body that he had never shown to anyone.
Dean's claws were elongated and there were hairs growing. Even his hands were slightly bigger than usual. The guild vice president looked at Dean's face and found the reason why Dean always kept his mask on when he went on missions.
The guild president who was paying attention immediately asked, "Hey, where did you get an exclusive subordinate like this? Half beast people? This is a jackpot. You should have sold them to slavers when they were young."
Those words didn't hurt Dean's heart. Right now all he had in mind was to save Willy. However, the guild vice president's words made him feel provoked.
"Damn it, there's a rat infiltrating the guild? Hey, you should have told me from the start. I should have sent you to the fighting arena in the Viper Kingdom instead of becoming an assassin. It's a waste that I raised you to be like this." The guild vice president said in a serious tone.
A rope felt broken in Dean's mind. He tried to put Willy's body onto another table at the side of the room. Before finally moving quickly.
Brugh!
Dean hit the guild vice president quickly and strongly. Even his victim seemed to turn blue immediately. The guild president, who had already reacted first, dodged easily.
It was only temporary, Dean had already pulled off the guild president's clothes and dropped them onto the guild vice president's body there. He hit both of them blindly.
"You guys should know your limits. I am not a monster and Willy is not a dog. I'm both human and beast people, Willy is a wolf. I did disguise Willy as a dog, that doesn't mean you treat him like he's worthless. Even though most of your missions were successful because of Willy." Dean coldly explained that.
Unable to escape, the two beaten men resigned themselves. They would have been stronger if they were fifteen years younger or kept honing their skills. Those two old men were just sitting in the guild's high position without honing their talents and just doing paperwork. How could they defeat Dean who was half beast people?
When the two had lost their self-consciousness, Dean left them. He took Willy's body again and left the room.
"I will burn down the entire guild including you as compensation for you knowing my identity." Dean issued an ultimatum before completely exiting the office which soon burst into flames.
On that night, the original guild that raised Dean was gone. There was no regret that Dean took either.
***
It was a long story for Dean. He did not share that story. It was just that there was Helena as an accidental witness to know all the events. Even when Dean created a new guild, Helena suddenly became the supplier of the trade branch.
In the present, still at the location of the K-Night Guild's main headquarters, Helena who was thrown by Dean, was still playing around. She didn't seriously want to fight with that man.
"Hey, handsome. It's not my fault that your pet died. The treatment wasn't finished and you just took it." Helena said in a dismissive tone.
Dean growled, "Shut up, you. Treatment with your blood? Bulshit."
That man grew angrier and growled before finally attacking Helena. The vampire swiftly dodged him again. Their fight looked very fast.
On the top floor of the headquarters, where Dean's office was broken and had a large gap, their guests watched. Cindy, whose eyes were covered by Leon, Count Rubel, who was glaring, was silent. Arthur and Adhitte were silent as well.
'I have to stop them both. How?'
Arthur looked at Adhitte who seemed to be observing something. He could see the system since he was close to Adhitte. There were holographic glasses in the woman's eyes.
"What are you doing all quiet?" Arthur asked when he saw that Adhitte, who was clearly privy to information, did not separate them.
Adhitte did not answer. She didn't know what she was doing, as the screens in front of her changed. It seemed that woman had no intention of separating them.
'This bastard. I shouldn't have given this script to Woo Jihyuk. This adhitte is so far from my type, damn it.'
Arthur looked toward the fight again. He wanted to intervene even though he was about to fall unconscious. As he was about to go down, Arthur's arm was intercepted by Adhite.
[Target can be made a party member!]
[Are you going to make him a party member!]
[You refuse to invite the target to join the party!]
'Damn this woman. Just invite me into your party.'
"Why?" Arthur asked in an insolent tone as he wanted to remove Adhitte's hand from his arm.
Adhitte did not like Arthur's reply. She gripped that man's arm so tightly that Arthur himself felt pain.
"Aw! Aw! Let go! Do you want to fight like them?"
Adhitte insulted smoothly. "You must have fainted in the first second."
'Damn it. Emotional damage.'
Arthur immediately withdrew his arm when he felt Adhitte loosen her grip. He could see that she wanted to prevent Arthur from stopping their fight.
"They have an unresolved past. Let them tell their stories through that beautiful fight." Adhitte said without looking at Arthur.
Arthur thought the same. He did guess that both of them had their own emotions and stories. However, not until the fight too.
Count Rubel, who had been glaring and keeping his mouth shut, now opened his mouth. "They are very beautiful in battle. If only the two of them were in the same camp and fighting a strong enemy, it would be very beautiful."
Count Rubel's words had a point. Dean with his full power and Helena with her agility. It looked very beautiful to watch.
Adhitte tried to watch them again until he finally said something that Arthur wanted. "I'll separate the two. It's been too long."
Swooosssh!
Brugh!
