Gary and Barton greeted each other and walked across the hall towards Hewitt's position.
Under everyone's watchful gaze, Gary stood in front of Hewitt with a smile and whispered:
"Lite, what brings you here?"
Despite maintaining surface courtesy, his questioning and threatening tone were quite apparent.
In fact, Hewitt didn't dislike Gary at all.
Who wouldn't enjoy teasing a fool?
"A mission," Hewitt replied with just two words.
Gary seemed to understand. Although he didn't like Hewitt, he took Tyler's missions very seriously.
He walked with Hewitt to a corner and asked:
"What have you found out?"
Hewitt replied:
"I have made significant progress and just came over here to investigate further."
Upon hearing this, Gary's mood immediately plummeted. He had thought that Hewitt had discovered clues from the Knights and came looking for him.
Gary said coldly:
"If you have no clues, get out of here. The church is my territory, and you should focus on your own work."
