"Hehe, Miss... No ancestor, please sit down." Cui Mai fawningly pulled a chair out for Sara.
With a look of disdain, Sara sat down. Lu Lei sat beside her, his mind spinning. He couldn't help but wonder what Sara said to turn the arrogant Cui Mai into a follower. He looked at the man's fawning appearance and furrowed his eyebrows.
Beside him, Shin Ming leaned forward. "Boss, does Little sister know Cui Mai? It doesn't seem to be so, right? Why did he suddenly change into her follower? Is it because Little sister is beautiful?"
"That shouldn't be the case." Zhang Yue smiled. "Lu Lei, this younger sister of yours seems to be something."
While Lu Lei was a doctor on the surface, underground he ran many race tracks and even some casinos. Zhang Yue and Shin Ming were his subordinates. Zhang Yue was in charge of the casino business, while Shin Ming managed the race tracks.
"Yes! Brother Lu always says his sister is a little rabbit, but she's definitely a tiger!" Shin Ming nodded fiercely. Lu Lei always spoke about the young girl that saved him when he was young and how nice and kind she was. But look! He should have known anybody associated with the boss could never be good!
Sara looked at the three men whispering together and grinned. The Host might not have known, but her 'Brother Lu Lei ' was certainly not a simple person. Although he looked refined and gentle, a bloodthirsty aura was still around him. Even his friends.
This Zhang Yue... Under his elegant bearing, one could vaguely sense a hint of danger. He was like a panther, sleek, swift and dangerous.
Shin Ming... He was always smiling, but a smiling tiger they say, is worse.
Interesting.
"Boss!" Cui Mai's loud voice attracted her attention. Sara turned to see him holding a menu towards her. He was bowing at ninety degrees. Sara felt her lips twitch. She grabbed the menu and casually ordered the most expensive dishes. Cui Mai's heart bleed but he could only grit his teeth.
They all gathered around the table. Sara sat at the head with Lu Lei to her left. Beside him were Shin Ming and Zhang Yue. To her right was Cui Mai. Two of his men sat beside him. Opposite Sara was Tara. Their table of eight was filled. The rest of the men gathered at other tables.
Sara glanced at Tara with a look of interest. "White lotus, didn't you say your feet hurt yesterday? How come you can run around today in heels and even have a race?"
Tara smiled stiffly. Her feet were killing her but who could she blame? She decided to turn the tables around.
"Sister you don't need to worry or blame yourself. I understand that you throwing that vase at me was a mistake. You were just angry that Dad was worried and concerned about you coming home late at night in a strange man's car. Don't worry, I don't blame you. My feet doesn't hurt anymore too." Tara smiled gently.
Her words carried a load of information. The men present looked at each other and smiled with disdain. This Eldest Miss Zhen really knew how to play! They couldn't help but feel pity for the 'weak' Tara.
"I didn't know the Eldest Miss had such habits." Cui Mai grinned.
Sara glanced at him and he immediately withered. She turned her glance to Tara. "I'm just worried sister." Since the white lotus won't stop calling her that way, she would just copy her. Let's see who will digust who to death! "After all, you insisted on running out today and following Brother Lu. Even if you just met Brother Lu this morning and are willing to follow him anywhere you must take care of your health, remember? That's just how you followed that man to the hotel last time and came back the next morning with a fever making Mum so worried. Sister, please be considerate of your health!"
"Sara!" Tara screamed. Her face flushed red. "What rubbish are you spouting?"
"Rubbish?" Sara looked genuinely confused. "I'm just saying the truth."
"Even if you're angry at me, no need to ruin my reputation!" Tara pretended to be heartbroken.
Sara saw some foolish men about to comfort Tara and grinned. She grabbed Lu Lei's phone and began to search for something.
"Eldest Miss, can you not do such things in the future? Even if your reputation is ruined, you don't need to maliciously slander the Second Miss! Not everyone is as filthy as..." The man choked. He watched the video in front of him with disbelieving eyes and turned to Tara with a complicated look.
"What?" Tara had a bad feeling. She snatched the phone and saw a video of her being carried into a hotel by a man. It even showed them going into a room!
"How did you get this?" Tara's eyes were bloodshot.
Sara shrugged innocently. "I never lie."
Tara took a deep breath. "I'd like to leave now." She stood up shakingly.
"Why? Is sister worried? Why should you be? You didn't do anything with that man. Or did you?"
Seeing Tara's pale face and not hearing her defend herself, the men around had different looks on their faces. So it was indeed true!
Tara hated Sara so much at the moment. "I have to go." She stumbled out.
"Tsk." Sara snorted. The waiter arrived with their meals then and they began eating.
************
"Miss Sara." Cui Mai found her after the meal and bowed. "Can we talk?"
Sara grinned and followed after him. Lu Lei and his friends stared at her back with interest.
"Miss Sara." Cui Mai took a deep breath. "How.. how?"
"Three years ago. On the fifteen day of the third month. It was at a banquet. You took a few men with you and smashed the Little Miss Shin head into a pulp. After that, you took her away in a gunny sack and buried her in the East of the city." Sara recited.
Cui Mai fell back. His face was white. "How?" He kept repeating.
"I have a high definition video with me. Plus, I have your fingerprints and everything that points to you being the killer." Sara smiled.
Cui Mai thought that smile looked like something from hell. "What do you want from me?" He croaked out.
"I know you were probably sent by someone." Sara stepped closer. "I want to know who sent you."
"I don't know." Cui Mai shook his head. "I was threatened and besides, that Miss Shin wasn't a good person. We had a grudge and... I didn't kill her! She was already dead when they gave her to me. I just..."
"But that's not what my video says, is it? If I release it, you'll be named the murderer. You'll probably die. The Shin family will come for your family too."
Cui Mai slide to the floor. "I beg you!"
Sara laughed. "Beg me? Do you know what they call me?" She squatted down and held Cui Mai's face. "They call me the devil herself. Do you think the devil will listen to your pathetic begging?"
Cui Mai stared into those black eyes. All he saw was death. He felt his crotch become wet.
Sara stood up and looked at the man that had peed himself. "Disgusting." She sneered. "I'll let you live. But you've to find out who sent you back then. If not, you can only wait for your death." She swiftly took out a pill and stuffed it in his mouth.
Cui Mai tried to spit it out but she hit his throat. He gasped because of the pain and the pill entered his body. Cui Mai clutched his throat wildly and tried to throw it up. "What did you give to me?"
"Just a slow acting poison." Sara smiled happily. "Incase you decide to be stupid and harm me."
Cui Mai looked up at the young girl. Her black hair framed her round face. Her big eyes were fixed on him and she smiled happily, but to him she was just a devil. A devil!
"Do as you're told and nothing will happen to you." Sara shrugged. She turned to leave.
"Since you saw me with the Young Miss Shin, why didn't you say anything? Why did you cover it up?"
The murder of the Young Miss had shaken the Capital. The family had searched for her for three months before they found her body in an apartment. All traces had been wiped away. Till today, the family was still searching for her murderer.
"You said it yourself she was dead. What should I have done?" Sara raised a brow.
"You let the murderer go free." Cui Mai said.
"Why should I have helped them? Am I that free? I was in a good mood so I can helped them take care of the body. What more should I have done?"
Cui Mai shivered. Devil. Devil.
He followed the young girl out and saw her face change into a smile. She skipped to Lu Lei and held his hand gratingly. "Brother, let's go eat meat!"
Cui Mai felt like throwing up. Evil!
Lu Lei glanced at Cui Mai and his wet crotch but didn't say anything in the end. He let Sara lead him out of the restaurant.
"Erm... Miss." A voice came from her head.
Sara widened her eyes. "Ah, Host you're awake?"
"Ehn. Was that really poison you gave him?" The Host's voice was weak.
"Of course not! It was just some pills for menstrual relief!" Sara grinned evilly.
The Host wailed. A devil! Who sent this devil to her!
