"Please don't give up on me" Lena said
"Hey don't cry" Aidan said through the pain
"Please if you die I will die too" she said and tried to remove her mask but he stopped her
"Don't do that, I don't want to see you in this situation. I am going to survive and at your own time show me all of you" he said
"Hey don't cry, you want me conscious right? Then Lena tell me about my performance, you promised to watch me live" he said smiling, he was going through a lot of pain but he didn't want to show her
Lena didn't want to but the doctor told her to so to keep him conscious
He placed his head on her shoulder and smiled As she told him what she thought all the while crying
He was happy because even if he didn't survive he got his wish of not dying alone, there was someone who was crying for him and praying for him to live ."We are almost there" the doctor said
"When we get closer, stop the car and let her out" Aidan said
"Why?" Lena asked worried
"Do you want to part ways with me?" She asked again
"Lena you're covered in blood, if they see you with me they will question you and the police might be involved, I don't want them to investigate you please"
"No I need to ensure you are alright, don't stop me"
"Then change your clothes and come to the hospital"
They dropped her off
"Hey doc I feel like I am dying the pain is too much and I am weak please use the emergency exit I don't want the media finding anything about this whether I survive or die"
The doctor operated on him
lena went to clean herself up as she stared at herself inside the mirror she cried
"didn't I tell you to stay away from him this is all your fault you're cursed and we can't have anyone close to us he's going to leave too like the rest and we're going to get hurt again" her reflection said
Lena after changing her clothes, came to the hospital she searched everywhere but couldn't find him. She asked about it from the nurses and they told her there was no such case
"where are you?" She squat in one corner and cried out praying for him to make it out alive else she was never going to forgive herself
The doctor chose his trusted nurses and they performed the procedure, the hospital environment was as it was, there was no media because the whole process was between just them
The doctor took a risk of not involving any of his relatives fortunately the procedure was successful, they moved him out of the emergency room
When she lost hope, hope came finding her. The moment she lifted her head after crying
Lena saw the doctor and approached him
"How is he?" She asked
"You're that girl"
"Yes"
"He's alright but he's resting, tomorrow morning you'll be able to see him" he said
"Where's his room" she asked
"I am sorry but it's confidential, wait for his approval first"
She didn't argue and chose to wait, she stayed there all night and the next day the doctor went to Aidan to check on him
"How are you?"
"I made it alive" Aidan said
After checking on his wound and ensuring he was alright
"That girl from yesterday, why are you protecting her"
"What do you mean?"
"I saw you yesterday, you rushed to her defense and you were so worried about the police and the media finding out about this but Aidan isn't she the reason you're in this condition"
