"Come on it's not how it looks like" he said as he called but she didn't answer, three hours and she called back "Hey you called"
"Yh, so where are you?"
"I am heading to the bus station"
"Did you just close?" He asked
"Yes"
"Meet me at the park before you leave, please" he asked and before she could answer he hung the call
She sat at the bus station wondering whether she should go or not because today was tough on her, she has her own problems too and was tired, she sat there crying and no one saw her. Every one was busy to notice her crying or maybe she was too good at hiding her emotions and maybe the world has too many problems for the people living in it that they failed to notice one another
He called her when he arrived and she was no where in sight She saw his calls, wiped her tears and watched him call numerous times
"Will you see my emotions too" she asked as she saw his caller ID
He thought she wasn't coming
Maybe not today" he said and got up to leave but then he heard his name
"The only voice that brings me happiness" he said and smiled but when he turned he wasn't happy about what he saw
He went towards her with a frown face as he held her face in his hands and said
"your eyes looked tired"
"I had a tough day" she said trying so hard not to cry
" I don't know what you're hiding from me but know that I am also there for you, let's share our problems together and find solutions to them, you remember your own words? Lena you give me joy and I want to return that to you when you're in distress" Aidan said
"I told you I am fine"
" no you're not, your eyes looks like some one who has been crying" he said and saw tears she was trying to hide and hugged her
"I will be the shoulder to cry on" he said and she couldn't control her tears, she cried out and hugged him tightly
"I am tired, I am trying so hard but nothing is working. I am tired...…sobs" she said
She cried her heart out and he comforted her
After a while they sat down and he gave her his handkerchief, after she calmed down he held her hand and asked
"Are you ok"
"Yh thank you" she said as she wiped her tears
"So why did you ask me here" she said
"Let's talk about you my dear, care to share?" He said
"I had a tough day at work, I had to deal with not so nice customers.... They were really violent and demanding and it was too much to bear because I got scared"
"If that job is dangerous, just quit" he said
"I owe the owner a favor and I have to pay for it, please don't ask me to explain, that's enough for today" she said
"Tell me when you want to quit and I'll employ you" he said and she smiled
"Thank you" she said
" I should be the one saying that for all the time you've given me joy while hiding your pain" He squat down in front of her and wiped her eyes
"I see your bangs and mask is still intact" he said and she giggled
"Or do you just do it for me" he said and she laughed
" no I have a habit of going out with bangs and yes although the mask is mostly for you I use it at work sometimes" she explained
"Now how do I know you're smiling?" He said and she shook her head
He just stared into her eyes so much that she couldn't stare back, she covered her eyes
"Is there something in my eyes" she asked, he took her hand away and said
"Yes there's"
"What's there" she asked trying to clean it
"Beauty, there's too much beauty in this eyes, I swear I will do anything to keep tears away from this eyes. Seeing joy in this beautiful eyes attracts you in and I love every bit of it. I have made so many pictures of you in my mind and I know behind that mask lies a beautiful soul that I want to desperately see but I will wait till you decide to show me" he said and kissed her bangs she was a little stunned although she shouldn't have since this wasn't the first but she still felt butterflies in her stomach and assurance from him whenever he does such little things.
