They had witnessed the rise and fall of the universe countless times. Life could no longer be described by time, but each time they were unable to escape the cycle of fate. When a universe perished, they had to use most of their strength to resist the power of the Cosmic Big Explosion, then fall into slumber.
They would gradually awaken with the rebirth of the universe and create life as a pastime to endure their own lengthy existence. Watching the races they created grow and develop, they attempted to find the meaning of their lives in this process, or rather, a way to transcend this universe.
They had seen higher universes exist, yet they were unable to break free from their own. Thus, they tried to create various life forms, to see if the evolution of these beings could inspire them, or if these races could be of any help.
