Chereads / His Consequences / Chapter 2 - Chapter 2

Chapter 2 - Chapter 2

His words made Montana's heart race but before she could protest, he crashed his lips against hers, immediately opening his mouth and coercing hers open. It was just like the night before except this time, she saw it coming but she couldn't for the life of her stop him.

She liked the way his lips felt on hers, it sending shivers throughout her body. Then a voice at the back of her head reminded her she shouldn't be doing what she was doing, not with her boss. She gently placed her hands on his chest, trying to push him backward.

Feeling her hands on his body, he let out a low growl from the base of his throat and then grabbed both her hands with just one of his. He broke the kiss and pinned her hands on the wall, above her head.

"Don't move your hands" He muttered, audible enough for her to hear. "...for any reason" he warned, letting go of her wrists.

He looked dead serious and Montana was scared to disobey him. She still felt sore from the night they had together but she dared not complain.

His right hand slid down her side, stopping on her thighs. He slowly slid his hand under her skirt and she sucked in a breath, looking down at his hand on her body. Using his other hand, he raised her head to face him, and looking deep into her eyes, he pushed aside her panties.

Rather suddenly, he slid in his middle finger and unconsciously, a loud moan escaped her lips. Her eyes widened and she slapped a hand over her mouth.

She was sure Kelly must have heard that.

Trey's gaze dropped to her hand over her mouth before looking into her eyes. "Did I not say not to drop your hands?" He queried.

"No, I..." She tried to explain herself but he just wasn't ready to listen.

He roughly spun her around to face the wall and pulled her skirt up to her waist. "Be quiet" he whispered.

About thirty minutes later, Montana finally left the office, adjusting her slightly messed up hair. Now she didn't just have a one-night stand with her boss, she was hooking up with him. Somehow, she had no regrets. It was not how she expected her first day at work to go, she couldn't wait to tell Samantha.

She knew she would freak out. Turns out, Montana kinda had a thing for Trey.

As she stepped out and closed his door behind her, she met Kelly's gaze and was instantly washed over with embarrassment. Kelly didn't have to say anything, her eyes said it all.

She knew exactly what had happened in Trey's office and she was judging her. Montana just gave an awkward smile and began approaching the exit.

Just when she was about to step out, Kelly spoke up. "You don't look like a slut" She said in a monotone and Montana turned back to face her. "But I guess you can't judge a book by its cover" She shrugged without sparing her a glance.

Montana's heart sank as she stepped out of the office, not bothering to dignify her statement with a response.

A slut? She guessed what she was for sleeping with a man whose name she didn't even know and then doing it again after finding out he was her boss. She suddenly regretted not stopping him.

She hated that Kelly had that impression of her. It was just her first day for heaven's sake.

She only saw Trey one more time that day and he didn't even spare her a glance. He walked past her like she was just another staff there.

The next day started badly for Montana. She came to work ten minutes late and she had everyone staring at her. Some stared at her with curiosity in their eyes while the others stared with judgement. She had no idea what was going on and being the socially anxious person she was, she couldn't muster up the courage to ask.

She didn't have to wonder for too long tho because a few minutes after she took her seat, a lady who looked about her age walked up to her. All she wanted was a pen but before she left, she made sure to let Montana know what was going on.

Rumors had been going around about her sleeping with Trey.

Montana felt all the blood drain from her face, she just wanted to disappear. Now that she knew what everyone was thinking, she felt even more uncomfortable with the stares.

She didn't think Kelly would tell anyone but it turns out she was even more of a bitch than Montana thought she was. Now everyone thought she was a slut and she had only been working there for a day. She was getting a lot of nasty looks.

She contemplated telling Trey but again, she couldn't face him.

Halfway into the workday, the devil herself showed up at Montana's office. Kelly. She also had that look in her eyes, that look everyone was giving Montana.

She told Montana Trey wanted to see her and made sure to project her voice so everyone could hear. She had Montana's number, she could have just called her up but for some reason, she decided to come down there.

Montana couldn't figure out why she was being so mean. When she first showed up at work the day before, she was incredibly friendly and she said she knew they were going to get along well.

Now she was the one spreading rumors about her. Well, not exactly rumors.

How ironic.

Montana followed her up to her office and when she stepped in to see Trey, he asked her to call Kelly in.

What Kelly didn't seem to realize was that she wasn't just messing with Montana, she was also messing with Trey, the man who paid her monthly.

Once the two girls were in his office, he flat out told Kelly she was fired and he didn't even bother offering her an explanation.

"I'm sure you can guess why," He told her without sparing her a glance.

Someone had told him about the rumors going around and he was pissed about it. Although Montana didn't show it, she was happy Kelly was getting fired. She thought she deserved it after what she had done.

Now that Kelly was gone, Trey needed a new secretary and he knew exactly who he would love to have at his beck and call.

He made Montana his secretary and it was the highlight of her year. She got promoted on her first day at work.

Becoming Trey's secretary meant he had her as close to her as possible, Montana didn't realize that at first. Without Kelly around anymore, he could do whatever he wanted with Montana, wherever he wanted and whenever he wanted.

She was hooking up with him and it was fun until she fell sick a month later.

She woke up that morning feeling extremely nauseous and dizzy. She had to take that day off so she called in sick. When she told Samantha about it, she suggested taking a pregnancy test and that was when she got scared. She hadn't thought about it but when Samantha mentioned that there was a possibility she was pregnant, it sent her heart racing.

What if she was pregnant?

It was a reasonable conclusion since she had been sleeping with her boss without any form of protection whatsoever.

She quickly stepped out to a mini-mart near her apartment complex and she bought a pregnancy test. She went back home to take it and just as she feared, it came out positive.

She cried her eyes out. She didn't know what else to do. Her stepmom was going to kill her if she ever found out. She called Samantha in tears and she went on and on about how much she regretted meeting Trey in the first place.

It wasn't like getting pregnant at the age of twenty-four was terrible, she just wasn't ready. She was scared and she wasn't even in a relationship with Trey. They were just hooking up and that was it.

Samantha pretty much comforted her and told her it wasn't the problem she thought it was. It wasn't like Trey was going to run away and leave her to take care of the baby or anything. He had enough money to take care of her and as many babies as she could have.

She then went ahead to tell Montana how she wouldn't mind carrying a billionaire's baby.

Even though Samantha was trying her best to cheer her up, Montana still couldn't stop crying. Having a baby sounded scary.

She contemplated calling Trey to tell him everything but she just couldn't bring herself to pick up the phone. She was up really late crying her eyes out.

By the time she got to work the next day, her eyes were puffy from all the hours she had spent crying. She stood in front of Trey's door for about five minutes before knocking. She had no idea how she was going to tell him she was pregnant but she had to do it.

After he responded, she pushed the door open and stepped in. He was busy writing something down so he didn't immediately look up to face her.

She stood in front of his desk for a while and he waited for her to speak but when she didn't, he raised his head to face her. "Montana?" his eyebrows snapped together seeing her puffy eyes.

"Good morning" She replied, looking everywhere but his face.

"Is something wrong?" He raised an eyebrow.

"Yes" She answered and her voice faltered.

Fear flashed in his eyes for half a second and he rose out of his seat. "What happened?" he asked, stepping closer to her.

"I took a pregnancy test yesterday," She told him.

His eyes widened in realization and tears began streaming down Montana's cheeks. "You're pregnant?" He questioned and she nodded.

He sighed, leaning on his desk. He didn't look the slightest bit happy about the news and his silence was killing Montana.

"Trey please say something" She cried, taking a step closer to him.

"Ok, first of all, stop crying" He snapped, leaning off his desk. "It's not that much of a problem" he continued. "I'm going to call my doctor, make an appointment for tomorrow and you're going to get rid of it," he said.

"Get rid of it?"

"What do you want to have the baby?" He questioned.

"I mean, I can't just..."

"Look, Montana, yo

u can't be carrying my baby" he cut her short, holding her shoulders. His eyes flickered between her glassy ones. "I'm married".
