Kale POV
Mark and Christall left the house. I kissed Iris's cheek softly and she giggled. ´So how would you like your wedding to be Iris?´ My dad asked playing with Amelia. ´I would love to have the wedding in a forest. It's so beautiful there.´ She said with a soft smile. ´What kind of ring would you like?´ My dad asked her. She thought for a bit before answering him. ´Well, I don't need a big ring or anything fancy. AS long it comes from the heart.´ She smiled at my dad.
Thank you, Dad! I thought. Now I can start planning the proposal. My mom and Iris took the twins for a walk. Me and my dad started to plan and look for a nice spot to propose. I'm so excited, now I know what to look for. I know what she liked so the would be easy for the food part.
I found a perfect spot to propose to her. I booked it right away. I also looked around for a restaurant that could make her favorite food and that I could pick it up. I found one and called them right away and ordered the food for that specific day. We agreed on a price and I thanked them for their time. My dad and I high-fived each other in a celebration. I also started to look for a ring maker. I want our rings to be very special. I called a few but I didn´t like most of them. I found one that I liked and called the number. ´Hello, this is Gold and Silver. How can I help you today?´ A male voice said over the phone. ´Hello, my name is Kale Smith. I saw your website and I fell in love with it. I´m calling because I want you to make a proposal ring and two wedding rings, please.´ I told him, I heard him chuckle on the other side of the line. ´What would you like the rings to have in them or on them?´ He asked me.
´Well... me and my mate are wolves. She loves the nature and beach. She likes rain and the stars on a night.´ I told him, I smiled remembering all the things that she likes. I heard him writing all of it, also probably drawing. ´When would you like to propose?´ He asked me. ´In two weeks. On a full moon. It falls on the Saturday.´ I answered him. I heard him hum as a response. ´Okay, I can do that in two weeks, but it may cost extra. I hope that that is okay.´ He said. ´Sir, I don't mind the price. I just want the rings to be very special. And thank you that could do them so fast.´ I answered him smiling.
No problem Kale. I like orders like this. Okay, so the price for the proposal ring is 162 dollars. For the wedding rings it would be 356 dollars. I will need to know your and her finger size.´ He said. ´Oh, I know our ring sizes. Mine is an M size and her size is an S.´ I told him, I heard him hum in response. ´The sending will be around 15 dollars. So in total, it would be 533 dollars. I want you to pay half of it upfront. That is 266.50 dollars.´ He added. ´Alright, that would be no problem, sir. Would you mind sending the bank information on this number?´ I asked him. ´No problem Kale. I will do it right after hanging up with you. So goodbye and you will get your rings sooner before you know it.´ He added with a chuckle. ´Thank you, sir, and goodbye, sir.´ I said before hanging up the call.
After I hung up Iris and my mom returned with the twins from the walk. ´Hey Kale! Hello sir!´ We heard Iris calling out for us. We got up and went to greet them. The twins were asleep so I took them from my mom and Iris to our room. I changed them into some comfy clothes and diapers. I gently placed them in their cribs and kissed their little heads before returning to the others. I pulled Iris to my chest and kissed her, she kissed me back with a smile. We pulled away a few seconds later. She got all giggly and I love it. I felt my phone buzz so I took it out of my pocket and looked why it buzzed. I unlocked my phone and I saw that it was the ring maker with the bank information. ´I will be right back.´ I excused myself and walked out of the living room. I paid the ringmaker and came back to them.
I saw them laughing and having fun. I smiled and leaned against a wall. Watching them I knew I was making the right decision by asking Iris for marriage. I joined them in the fun. we talked about our goals, adventures, and how Iris and I met. My parents were a bit disappointed by my actions but were happy that we ended up together. They like Iris and I'm very happy about that. After some time we heard knocking on the door. Iris got up and opened the door. We heard her scream, so we got fast up and ran to the front door. The for was open and someone was running away. I smelled blood so I went in front of Iris and I saw a knife in her belly. I gasped and picked her gently up in my arms before carrying her to the couch and placing her on it gently. She groaned from the pain, and my mom called for the ambulance. ´Hold on my love... the ambulance is coming..´ I told her while holding her hand. Iris was slowly closing her eyes and I started to panic. I kept talking to her and petting her head softly. 5 minutes later the ambulance came and took her away in the ambulance. My parents pushed me into the ambulance to go with her before the ambulance drove off.
