I changed into my wolf form and ran back tribe. When i came back the tribe be started to ask me many questions. 'Did you find her?' 'Who?' 'Your mate.' 'Of course i found her!' 'Tell us.' I couldn't hold it back anymore and just spilled the beans. I explained everything to them and they nodded their heads in understanding. They gave me some food and some water to drink. Then i went to my hut and flopped on my bed before closing my eyes. I slept for 3 hours straight. I woke up and got out of my hut and started walking towards her home. 'I wonder how she's doing' I thought to myself. I reached her house after some time. I knocked at the back door but no one answerd. I sat down on the outside couch and waited till she wakes up.
Hours went by like this. Until i heard movement behind me. I quickly turned around to see her. 'She's awake!' I smiled to myself. 'Hey.' I greeted her. 'H..hi.' She whispered and looked at me.
We sat there in silence for some moments. 'What are your plans for today?' I asked. 'I need to get ready for tomorrows school day.' She spoke with a soft voice. 'Where is your school?' I asked hoping she will go to the same school as me. 'The SunRaise school.' She anwserd. 'YES!' i screamed happy in my head. She is going to the same school as me. Now i can learn more about her without being a creep. 'But why would you want to know that?' She aked. 'Well. I got to the same school as you.' I answerd with a smile. She looked at me wide eyed with disbelief in her eyes. 'She probably thought i was joking or making fun of her.' She probably thought she was dreaming. 'No really. I'm actually going to your school.' I told her. 'Now you don't need to creep up onto me' She laughed. 'od her laugh is cute.' i thought to myself. I found myself giggle.
Iris POV
'He isn't as bad as i thought.' i thought to myself. Maybe we'll be okay. It's not everyday that your mates is someone you're suppose to be together with and then he shows up. I mean, he was very handsome but still kinda weird. But sweet and caring. Im happy that he didn't push me away when i told him that i wanna wait with tribe and all that stuff. He seemed pretty understanding. But maybe he knew he couldn't force me to be with him if i don't want to. If we become mates it wont be a surprise thing for us to be mates. 'What are your plans for future?' i asked him curiously. 'Not sure yet. I've never had a mate so I haven't even thought about it yet.' He answered truthfully. 'Me neither.' I said looking down. He placed his hand underneath my chin and brought my gaze to his. ''Don't worry. I'll show you that im the best and only m ate of yours when you are ready.' he said 'Promise?' I asked him with a small blush. `Of course I promise' He said smiling. We both giggled at eachother and it felt good. I felt a sense of peace inside of me. I wanted to enjoy our moment together. But sadly we got broken out of our moment when Christall ran to me and hugged me from behind. 'WHERE DID YOU GO?! I COULDN'T FIND YOU YESTERDAY?!' she screamed in my face shaking me. Before i could answer Kale did it for me. 'Im sorry but i took her for a walk and we lost time yesterday' 'And you are?' she asked him. 'Im Kale a friend of Iris' he told her that with a soft smile. She looked at him up and down before smiling at him. 'Im Christall her best friend it's nice to meet you Kale.' She introduced herself politely. 'Nice to meet you too.' He responded. We talked some more for awhile and then he decided to go back home while I continued chatting with Christall. As soon as Kale left, Christall started questioning me about him. 'Where did you guys meet?! Is he like your boyfriend?' i chuckled at her question. 'No we're just friends...and i dont think that he's like my boyfriend anyway.' I shrugged it off. 'Well i guess thats fine! I can always ask when you're ready!' She said smiling.
'Yeah sure.' i said smiling back. 'Oh and Iris! Your birthday's coming up! Wanna party?' 'Yeah I'd like that.' I smiled at her and she ran off happily. After sometime I started feeling tired again so i laid down on my bed and fell asleep.
I woke up the next morning to the smell of food wafted through the air. My stomach growled loudly, I stretched my legs and jumped out of my bed. I started walking through the hallway. I made a small run to the kitchen. I saw Christall already in her work clothes eating breakfast. She waved at me and smiled brightly at me. 'Good Morning! How was your sleep? Did you dream of anyone special?' She asked me. I smiled at her and shook my head. 'Oh no nothing like that...Just a normal night.' I answered her. 'You sure?' she asked. I grabbed some breakfast too. I sat down next to her and i started to dig in my food. When i was done eating i cleaned after myself. Christall went out to her first day of her new job. Leaving me home alone to get ready to my first day of my job in the book store. I went to my bathroom and got ready. After that i went downstairs and packed food in my small bag before goining to the hallway putting my shoes on and takeing my car and home keys with me when i waled out. I locked the door behind me and getting inside my car. Starting it and draving to the book store.
