After a few minutes of silence he said. 'Why are you blushing?' He asked me. 'I was not.' I told him. 'Yes you were!' He replied laughing. 'Okay fine I am.' I admitted looking at my lap embarrassedly. 'You want to hug me?' he asked me looking at me questioningly. 'Yeah' I nodded shyly blushing hard. He wrapped his arms around me and I laid my head on his chest and nuzzled my face on his chest. And i held onto his shirt and inhaled his scent. I never knew how much this smell could relax a person or make them happy. It smelled like his cologne. But that's not even the best part of the scent. I can feel his heart beating in his chest. He's alive.....I'm alive...we're alive....we made it.. I hugged him tighter and I couldn't stop smiling. A few more moments passed. Iris finaly came back and sat down next to Kale. He moved me aside and hugged Iris. She giggled and melted into his arms. I really got jealous.
Iris fell asleep in his arms after a hour or 2. He got up with her in his arms and walked to her bedroom. I watched closely before he went inside her bedroom.
Kale POV
I took her to her room and put her to bed. Once she was comfortable and her light was off she curled into the blankets. I laid down next to her and stared at her sleeping form. She looked so peaceful and cute. I caressed her cheek softly and kissed her forehead. She moved slightly in her sleep and snuggled closer to me. I wrapped my arms around her and held her closer to me until I fall asleep. I didn't know when i fell asleep but when i woke up i found out that i fell asleep in her bed with her in my arms. I smiled a little bit at the sight. Her skin was glowing and the light of the sun was streaming through her window and hitting her face. The light of the sunlight hit her perfectly making her look angelic. She looked beautiful. I got out of bed and stood up and walked towards her bathroom, undressing myself and got in the shower. After a while I got out the shower and dressed. As i got out the bathroom i looked at Iris and smiled at her peacefully sleeping form. Once I left her room i went downstairs and made us breakfast. While i was cooking the food my mind kept drifting back to Iris. As the breakfast finished i decided to wake her up for breakfast. So i went up to her bedroom and walked in. I sat next to her on her bed and kissed her head. I shock her gently to wake her up. She woke up soonly after i did that. She looks at me with her beautiful eyes and smiled at me.
'Go get ready, i made breakfast for us all.' I spoke in a soft voice. She sat up with a yawn before going to her bathroom and gets ready. She came out soonly after she entered. We both went to the kitchen where the breakfast was. Christal came downstairs right after us. She ran to me and hugged me. I don't know how to feel about this so i just hugged her back awkwardly back. She looked happy. I let her go and go to Iris. I sat down next to her and we all started to eat the breakfast.
'So what are your plans for today?' I asked them. Iris was about to speak up but christall was faster. 'How about you and me go to the beach??' Christall asked. 'Im sorry but im taking Iris out today.' I said with a soft smile. 'You are?' Iris asked. 'Yes Iris im taking you out today to a mall so we can spend some time together.' I smirked at her. 'Can i join too??' Christall asked 'Im sorry but i wanna bond with her. Maybe another time Christall.' I spoke up.
She groaned before nodding. After the breakfast we all cleaned up. Iris went up to her bedroom to get ready. Christall went up to me and kissed me on my cheek. 'Weird. Why would she do that?' I thought. She hugged me and hold my arm. 'Umm can you let me go Christall?' I asked politely. She let me go with a giggle and went up to her bedroom. Iris just came back downstairs and hugged me. I hugged her back with a smile. I let her go and we went to the front door and we put our shoes on. 'Hey where do you live?' She asked me. '...how about i show you?' I asked and she nodded with a smile. She picked up her bag with her things that she would need before we walked out. I led her to the pack so i could get my car and my bag. The pack ran to us and started to bombard us with questions. *Who is she?!* *What's your name?!* *Are you dating!?* *Why haven't you introduced us to her yet?* *Are you gonna marry her?!* *Is she as beautiful as you?* *What's her name? Does she have any brothers or sisters?* *How old is she?*. 'Okay okay guys please give us space.' I told them laughing. They all backed off but watched her.
Iris POV
Whoa the pack is bigggg. They seem sweet and very curious. Kale went to his house leaving me behind with the very curious pack. I tried not to laugh at their curiosity about me. It's funny though, i was also kinda curious about them. I've never met an Alpha before so it's interesting. The packs were really friendly and welcoming. Kale came back soonly after and walked to me with a smile. He took my hand and led me to his car. He opened the door for me. I thanked him and sat down, he closed the door behind me and went to his side of the car and sat down behind the wheel. He started the car and drove off. I waved to the pack and some waved back to me. That made me smile...they are so sweet. Kale turned the radio on and we both vibed to the songs. As we pulled off to another part of the city he told me where to go. My stomach grumbled and i blushed and looked away from him. 'Hungry?' He asked with a smirk. I nodded shyly and covered my cheeks. He went to Mcdonald's drive thru. I ordered pancakes and a small glass of juice. I didn't notice I'd been smiling the entire time until he called me to order. ''Do you want anything else?' I shook my head no. He gave me a small smile and returned my smile. He paid for my pancakes and handed me my drink.
