Daniella informed her maid when Lord Killian asked for his first dance from her sister Elaina. Beth was quick to serve her one. Elaina's dark blue dress was eye-catching even from far away and yet with the red, it was like blueberries and lobster. Ella knew she was envious after thinking such words as she glanced at the empress who was sitting behind her one stair up.
She was talking with some minister she danced with earlier and her fierce eyes darted to the couple that decent to the dance floor. After the high embarrassment that the duke caused and yet the duke himself chose to embarrass himself by lying to the public, she was not ready to tangle any of her children with the Carmillion at least for another year.
