Chapter 4 - Chapter - 3

POV~ Nyx

"Nobody can surpass your greatness, my majesty,'"spoke Elio. Elio has been a part of our journey from the very beginning. I remember the day we first crossed paths when he brazenly laid claim to my armor at the base. We locked in combat, the clash of our wills echoing like thunder. Eventually, he yielded, and from that day forth, he has been my unwavering companion. Even on the day of my coronation, he stood firmly by my side, choosing to tread the perilous path with me rather than bask in heavenly comfort. Together, we have faced countless battles.

'Keep your focus squarely on your adversary when the battle rages,' I counseled while our swords met in a symphony of clashing steel. The resonance of our blades colliding provided a strange solace amidst the chaos. Beads of sweat trickled down our determined faces. In the midst of this intense duel, the rhythmic sound of approaching hoofbeats drew my attention. With a swift strike, I disarmed Elio, causing his sword to fall to the ground. 'I yield,' he declared, his face bearing a mixture of exhaustion and a triumphant grin. A soldier swiftly handed me a drapery to conceal my upper body before I turned my gaze to the newcomer, a man on horseback.

It was none other than Cyrus Lumiere, my brother. I couldn't help but wonder what had compelled the king himself to venture to this place. He usually remained consumed by his duties and responsibilities within the palace. He dismounted and extended his hand, which I took in a warm embrace. Elio waved to us from the ground, curiosity etched across his features. 'What brings you here, my brother?' I inquired, to which he responded with laughter. Together, we retreated into the castle.

'Celestial, the head of the Oasis, is here to meet you. Change into more suitable attire and join me there promptly,' Elio stated ,then turned to depart.

"She is here" said Cyrus, the reason behind his arrival .I made my way to the throne, with Cyrus occupying the seat beside me. Elio positioned himself nearby, and I signaled for the meeting to commence. An elderly man, presumably the head, stood before me, his entourage bowing respectfully. 'A sudden shift of places occurred last night, an event unprecedented in our history, since the time of our revered King Cedric. Such an event can only be orchestrated by one of royal lineage. I beseech your majesty to provide an explanation for this extraordinary incident,' Celestial implored.

Murmurs rippled through the court as the attendees exchanged hushed words. I raised my sword, silencing the chamber. 'I am responsible for this turn of events, and our actions are always guided by a higher purpose,' Cyrus declared with unwavering composure. Remarkably, the head of the Oasis did not press further, a testament to Cyrus's esteemed reputation. I raised my eyes, signaling to Elio, who in turn gestured to the soldiers. They swiftly escorted the Oasis delegation out of the palace.

I stood, and the courtiers all bowed their heads in deference. Meanwhile, Cyrus turned on the charm, eliciting laughter and smiles from the ladies present. With dignified grace, I exited the court and returned to my quarters. I cast my cape aside and settled into a chair, closing my eyes. Elio joined me, offering a somber reminder, 'You cannot always evade the truth.'"
