One cloudy day, in a children's park, 5- year old Su LingYun tilts her head upwards and stares at the tree.

"Come here. Don't be afraid. I will catch you." she says as she lifts her hands up the tree.

Little Su LingYun looks around and sighs. "Looks like I'll have to get it myself."

Little Su LingYun walks towards the trunk of the tree and wipes her hands on her dress. She blows on her hands a few times to make sure that it is not sweaty.

She embraces the trunk of the tree and attempts to climb.

When she is about to climb, a little boy suddenly speaks from behind. "What are you doing?" the little boy asks.

Little Su LingYun takes down her foot and looks at the boy. She points into the tree. "There's a little cat up the tree and she is afraid to go down."

The little boy moves closer and examines the tree. He spots the kitten who looks afraid to go down.

"Cats are natural climbers, they can climb up and down by themselves." the little boy says.

5-year-old Su LingYun frowns and snorts. "How do you know? You're just afraid to climb the tree. I can do it by myself."

Su LingYun is about to attempt climbing the tree again but the little boy grabs her hand. "My dad told me to always protect girls. Wait here. I will get the kitten."

"Mn." Su LingYun nods.

The playground is huge and parents are busy looking out for their own children.

Su LingYun watches as the little boy climb over the tall tree.

"You're almost there!" she says.

The wind brushes through the little boy's hair and when he looks around, he realizes how high up he is.

The little boy swallows.

"You can do it!" little Su LingYun cheers.

The little boy looks down on the 5-year old Su LingYun. She is wearing a pink doll's dress and she has two ribbons on her shiny hair. She looks up the little boy with her big beautiful eyes.

The little boy gets captivated by little Su LingYun's beautiful face. He begins to lose focus as his attention shifts into the little girl.

"What are you staring at? Go get the kitten!" little Su LingYun instructs with a hint of annoyance.

The little boy snaps out and regains himself. He looks at the kitten who embraces the edge of the branch.

He tries to reach for the kitten but he can't.

"Ayst! You are too clumsy! I should have climbed up myself." little Su LingYun complains.

The little boy's ego is hurt by Su LingYun's remarks.

"You watch me. If I get this kitten, you should make me a promise." the little boy says.

"Okay." little Su LingYun replies.

The little boy tries to reach for the kitten again.

"Come here! I'll get you down." he calls out to the kitten.

The little kitten slowly approaches the little boy and the little boy is able to hold the kitten.

Little Su LingYun claps her hands. "Great! You saved the kitten!"

The little boy smiles nervously while holding the kitten.

"What's the matter?" Su LingYun asks.

The little boy does not respond.

"Little boy! Are you okay! Come down already!"

"I can't!" the little boy replies.

"Why?" little Su LingYun asks.

"It's too high."

"Eh? You already got the kitten. Come down." little Su LingYun says.

"I'm scared." the little boy says.

Suddenly, another boy comes running towards Su LingYun. This little boy seems younger. He looks up the tree.

"GeGe?"

Little Su LingYun looks at the boy. "GeGe? Is he your brother?"

The boy nods.

"He's too scared to go down. Tell your parents."

"Mn." The little boy runs back from where he came from in an instant.

A few moments later...

Su LingYun's mother comes running towards her. "Oh my god! How did you get up there?" she looks up the tree.

The little boy does not respond and Su LingYun purses her lips.

"Wait for me. I will get help. Don't move!" he tells the little boy.

A few moments later and officers came to bring down the little boy and the kitten. They use a ladder to climb the tree.

When the little boy gets down, he gives the kitten to Su LingYun.

The little boy's mother gives him a hug. "Are you okay?"

"Mn." the little boy responds.

The little boy's parents had a little chat with Su LingYun's mother.

"I brought the cat down. You should make me a promise." the little boy proudly tells Su LingYun.

Su LingYun looks at the little boy. "Nnn...What should I promise you then?" she asks.

The little boy looks at Su LingYun and his heart starts to beat faster. His cheeks become flushed. "Marry me."

"Ha???" the little Su LingYun gasps. "Little boy, you can't just randomly ask someone to marry you. You should marry the person that you love to live a happy life."

"Love?" the little boy asks, confused.

"Tsk tsk tsk." little Su LingYun shakes her head. "You seem to be older than me but I am more knowledgeable than you. How about this?"

Little Su LingYun removes an adjustable bracelet from her hand and gives it to the little boy.

"I will give you this bracelet as a token of our friendship. I will promise you something the next time we meet."

The little boy looks at the bracelet on his hand. It is a red bracelet that has three tiny cubes in it. Each cube has a letter in it. S-L-Y.

"Don't lose it or I will not promise anything." little Su LingYun warns.

"Mn." the little boy replies with a smile on his face.

The little boy's parents come back.

"I see you have become friends." the little boy's father says. "Um...how about we take a picture as a remembrance?" he lifts up his camera.

"Okay." little Su LingYun's mother agrees.

The little boy's father takes the photo while his wife carries their younger child as she stands beside Su LingYun's mother.

The little boy and Su LingYun stands in front and when the father snaps the camera, the little boy pecks on Su LingYun's cheek.

Little Su LingYun's shocked expression is captured through the photo.

"Huh?" the little boy's father looks at the photo and chuckles softly. "This kid is really naughty." he shakes his head.

"Why did you do that?" little Su LingYun glares at the little boy.

"I will take responsibility when I grow up." the little boy says.

Little Su LingYun's lips parted and she remains frozen for a few seconds.

"Okay. Come. We should go now. Say goodbye to your friend." the little boy's mother says as she approaches her child.

The little boy smiles at Su LingYun. "I will see you again. Bye bye."
