Chapter 4 - The echo of war

The Queen's Palace, an ethereal wonder suspended in the skies, boasted an unparalleled beauty in all of Moonrun. It stood atop a magnificent white marble staircase, consisting of over a thousand steps, guarded diligently by three dwarfs. However, this staircase held a unique enchantment - those who took their initial step with the queen's permission found themselves instantly transported above the palace gates.

The grandeur of the palace extended to its gate, an awe-inspiring creation crafted entirely from pure diamonds. The gate's design featured doves carved intricately, mimicking the throne's seat inside. According to legends, the entire palace had been meticulously carved out of a colossal mountain of marble rock.

Mihir and Meer ascended the grand staircase and entered the Throne Room, which was already occupied by fifteen fairies. The assembly included many fairies such a soul , Flame, Aura , Aqua , music , Mystic, Naughty and other fairies. Each fairy held a unique magical wand that was a reflection of their powers and personalities. The fairies have name after their Nature or magical abilities they have from the birth.

At the center of them all sat Queen fairy on her majestic throne, adorned in a silver dress and a crown adorned with blue diamonds. She embodied both firmness and compassion in her nature.

Today, an air of concern enveloped the fairies in the Throne Room. Mihir sensed that something was amiss, a feeling reinforced by the knowledge of the considerable damage that Moonrun had suffered. Lives had been lost, the fairy library lay in ruins, and the Weapon Chamber had been reduced to ashes, taking with it many precious weapons. The extent of the damage remained unknown, and the realm's transformation had deeply wounded Queen fairy, who had served it faithfully for over a century.

Amid the fairies' hushed discussions, Mihir and Meer greeted their queen with a respectful "Hail, good queen," and she acknowledged them with a warm smile.

As their Royal highness seemed lost in her thoughts, Meer approached Mihir, voicing his concern. "I think something has happened here," he said, his unease evident.

Mihir attempted to reassure him, saying, "Don't worry, everything will be fine."

Finally, she roused from her contemplation, and Mihir asked, "good queen ,did you summon us?" It was only then that she appeared to regain her focus, while the other fairies continued their discussions in hushed tones.

Meer whispered to Mihir, "I have a bad feeling about this."

Mihir offered comforting words, "Don't worry; everything is fine."

Queen fairy rose from her throne, her royal staff in hand, and declared, "Mihir, Meer, the time has come to confront Krurika and end her reign of chaos before she can cause more harm."

Mihir responded promptly, "You are right, my queen. Just give us the order, and we will eliminate her swiftly." Meer, on the other hand, seemed nervous.

Soul fairy stepped forward, firmly stating, "No, dear, we don't know what awaits us in the sinister land of Krurika. We shall launch a joint assault as an army."

Queen fairy added, "Indeed, Mihir, Meer, we will attack Kritya lok in an hour."

" but Can we all conquer her in her own realm " Mistral fairy argued.

" let me see the Moonrun one more time before we get killed in kritya lok " gloom fairy mocked.

These two fairies like their name are cold and mannerless hated by everyone in the realm. No one loves them. Some of fairies not even want them to be in ministers of royal families.

But today their words effect more ,many fairies start murmuring with each other. Fear was evident but queen shut them all.

" if you both do not want to go you can sit here and wait until we return, As the leaders of your group we are destined to fight these dark forces everytime" Queen fairy replied sternly shutting them. " fairies who do not want to go can stay here , the court respect everyone thought and decisions " with that said she ended the argument.

Preparations for the attack were quickly made, with discussions on strategy and tactics. Queen fairy conjured a magical representation of Krityalok in the air-a round, star-like disc with towering mountains and poison waterfalls. As they planned the attack, Meer leaned against a pillar for support, his anxiety growing by the second.

Mihir noticed Meer's unease and approached him, gently inquiring, "Are you okay?" He tenderly ran his fingers through Meer's black hair.

Meer looked up at him, his voice trembling, "We'll be okay, right?"

Mihir smiled reassuringly and planted a kiss on Meer's forehead. "Don't worry; no one can harm you while I'm here." They hugged tightly, finding solace in each other's embrace.

Mihir added, "And no one can hurt you while I'm here."

Meer chuckled, "I know, you're my strength and guardian."

With a mischievous grin, Mihir teased, "Of course, I have to guard you because I want to fuck you for once atleast"

Meer playfully retorted, "Shut up, Meer."

The tolling of the castle's bell echoed loudly, signaling the passage of an hour. The fairies, though apprehensive, stood bravely, ready for the impending battle. Many of them look long breaths. Pani pari was shaking baal pari however seem ready to war l. They knew that confronting Krurika in her own realm, Krityalok, would be no easy feat, especially when dealing with the most sinister fairy in the darkest of places. Nevertheless, they were determined to face the challenge head-on.

Queen fairy summoned everyone to the center of the Throne Room, with special attention on the twins.

"Mihir, Meer, show us your weapons," she requested. Extending their hands, Mihir's trident and Meer's axe appeared. Rani Pari, with a sweeping motion of her staff, cast a red light onto their weapons, causing them to gleam brightly. Mihir's trident transformed in size and color changing it to sword like size , while Meer's axe became a formidable double-bladed weapon adorned with red crystals.

"Your weapons now carry our fairy powers and are more potent than before," Rani Pari declared.

Expressing gratitude, Mihir said, "Thank you, Rani Pari, for your generous gesture."

Aqua fairy entered the chamber and announced, "Queen fairy, we are all ready to launch the attack. We await your orders."

It was decided that only thirteen sinister fairies, along with Rani Pari, Mihir, and Meer, would embark on the assault. A covert approach was deemed best to prevent Krurika from escaping. They believed that they could handle Krurika's goblin armies with their magic.

Mihir cast a final glance at the fairies, noticing the concern on their faces. fear fairy, known for her power to induce fear, seemed the most apprehensive. It amused Mihir to see that someone capable of striking fear into others could harbor fears of her own. Sob fairy couldn't hold back her tears, watching the other fairies depart, leaving her behind with dream, nature, and other fairies. While they wished to help, their limited powers were not suited for battle. Mistral and gloom fairy decide to sit back and see the scenario from queen palace only.

Queen Fairy used her magic to create a portal in the sky, proclaiming, "Fairies, the time has come to end the dark force for one more time." With those words, everyone nodded and the fairies unfurled their colorful wings, filling the sky, and entered the portal, disappearing into the greenish vortex.
