Emma could not believe her eyes. She ran to the changing room to hide. "What is wrong Emma? Who is chasing you?" Doctor Helen asks quite struck by Emma's sudden entry in the room.
"Nothing Doc, I was just in a hurry to pick something I left in my bag before I head to the surgery room" Emma clearly out of breath. Doctor Helen being one to mind her business stared at her as if weighing her words "Emma you should probably ask your friend Linda here to teach you how to lie, and stop running around the hospital we don't want to have accidents inside the hospital" she said and left the room. Linda who was sited there could not control her laughing.
"You look like you saw a ghost" Linda in between her laughs. "I saw him. You won't believe who he was talking to." Emma trying to catch her breath. "Who are you talking about?" Linda asks this time seriously noticing the fear in Emma's voice.
"The man from the party is here and he is talking to Doc Marcus." Linda's eyes widen in surprise "how?" she asks still in disbelief. "Why is he talking to doc?" she continues. "How am I supposed to know all that Linda? I ran the moment I saw the two heading to Doc's office"
"Linda what will I do? I am supposed to go to his office now before we move to the surgery room and hand in the report about the patient. Why is this man haunting me? I blame you though, you should have stayed with me that night."
"Calm down, you are overthinking for no reason at all, where is the report? I will take it to him and at least I get to meet the famous Mr. best one night stand and if am lucky get to experience the 'journey' God knows I deserve it" she says laughing aloud again.
"Hello Linda, I was not expecting you today. I thought the report was supposed to be brought by never mind meet my elder brother Kim." Linda could not believe her eyes Kim Dansons was seated across the doctor's table, this meant Marcus is a Dansons and Emma had slept with his brother. Kim Dansons is the son of the prominent business man Erick Dansons the owner of this hospital. He is the beloved bachelor of the nation. How comes no one ever had a clue about Marcus being a Dansons, she wondered, come to think of it he never used his surname anywhere. "We will be having the surgery in an hour, inform everyone please." "Okay" Linda says leaving the room confused.
"I always knew you were special Emma" Linda jokingly in hushed tones "You won't believe what I found out." She continues enjoying every minute of frustrating Emma with the suspense. "Quit playing around Linda what was he doing in Doc's office?"
"You won't believe it you are the only woman in the nation who has the Dansons' sons under her spell. How did you do it?"
"What do you mean the Dansons' sons?" Emma clearly frustrated. "Marcus is a Dansons, he practically owns this hospital." Linda states.
"You mean they are brothers? Oh my God! Does Marcus know about that night? Are you sure you are the one who saw me first in the parking lot? I can't believe that jerk left me in the parking lot all alone while I was unconscious." Emma frustrated.
