" The crown prince must have slept with a commoner", someone probably a maid said. "Did you check who this commoner is?". Lady Gwen asked the maid . This maid had been her spy since she entered the palace, getting information for her; what the prince loved and what he disliked , what he did and his mood. She was more of a stalker then someone who wanted to get on the king's bright side. "I tried, but I got nothing. I only know that for the past five days during the celebration, he had been with her". Lady Gwen scoffed. How could the crown prince like a commoner with no background. " Tell me more", she said all ears. "The crown prince decided she'd stay till he gets married". That statement gave her hopes, he still wanted to get married even with that little pimp around. "Leave me be, make sure you keep an eye on the two". The maid who was in her late thirties bowed and turned to leave then she stopped. " He also likes women that eat alot but don't get fat" . And she left. That sounded strange. A lady ought to eat moderately, but, whatever it was , she wanted to be next to him as the queen of Xavier.
She would pay a humble visit to the queen.

Crown prince Alexandro was playing archery. He was always hitting the bull's eyes that it got bored. Since it was the queen and her court that handled state affairs, what could he do. Just then, he sighted Celine coming towards him , what did the girl want now, he was always bumping into her that he slightly felt pity for her nose. "Your highness", she greeted. She did not wait for him to accept the greeting,she said, " So you do archery. During my youth in Garcia, I played well that I always hit the bull's eye. I always did it with my eyes closed and once when I was riding a horse". He looked at her for sometime deciding if he should go with the lie or not , he decided to go with it by giving her the bow. "What?", She asked raising her brows." Shoot", he said. Celine took it though hesitantly and set it. She closed her eyes . Sometimes lying was not a good thing. She shot it. The arrow lay at her feet and the string that held the bow had torn. Too hard.
"Aren't you an expert or you just so suddenly lost your skill", he said quite amused by her. Celine was not giving up, she wouldn't let him make his day with her. "As I said, it was in my youth". She felt she'd did a job well done until he said," You look eighteen to me, so where is the youth here".
This brat! She cursed.
"You know, a youth younger than my current youthful age". He smirked.
Shit! He wasn't buying the lie. Who in the world would buy such lie , even if that person was a born moron. Crown prince Alexandro wanted to say something but was interrupted by someone. A lady.
"Greetings, crown prince Alexandro", lady Gwen said in her brightest smile and clear as a spring voice.
Wasn't this the lady the queen asked crown prince Alexandro to meet? Celine thought. He nodded his greeting. "I came to see the queen but met you instead. Don't you think this is fate?". Crown prince Alexandro stared at this lady as if he just knew her that moment. "And who is this?", she asked eyeing Celine. "I am..." She was cut short by the prince. "Lady Gwendolyn, meet my...". He stared at her not knowing who she was to him . Lady Gwen raised a brow at him." Acquaintance", Celine said and he nodded. "... Meet my acquaintance, lady Celine of Garcia, lady Celine meet lady Gwendolyn of south Sheba", they curtsied. "Seems like you're doing archery ". She picked the bow, the strings were broken. She took another and an arrow. "I like arrows with sharp vertex, they make it easy to trap your enemies". She set it and shot. Bull's eye. Crown prince Alexandro looked at Celine and she bent her head still trying to keep her diminishing pride. "I'll leave first", he said and left.
Celine somewhat felt that this lady hadva word or two to say to her." So you seduced the king to be, how shameless ". Celine didn't want to explain and wanted to feel cool, so she said,"If you were given the chance, you'll do more than just sleeping with him". With that said, she walked off leaving lady Gwen all to her miserable self.
"Lady Gwen came to see me, she said you walked out on her". The queen said."I didn't , I excused myself", he explained. The queen sighed. " You know I want the best for you". Crown prince Alexandro laughed mockingly. He never laughed a happy laugh. "If this queen wanted the best for me, I would have been sitting on that throne", he said and walked off. The queen looked stunned.
