In the shop, they remained silent since they were under serious attack. Darkness deeply covered the area indicating end of the day. They moved slowly to go and confirm if the goblins had gone since there were no movements from outside. Neither there was any noise in the city. The city that was characterized by noise from moving machines and large population initially it was now the opposite since there was no business taking place. After confirming that the goblins had gone to rest, they also went back to the shop to take a rest. Henry was very worried about the Smith's family left behind since there was no longer any communication on the planet.
They both entered the shop, took something to at least fill up their stomachs then slept on the floor waiting for the next day. There were some conversations for a short period of time before they found themselves asleep. This was something usual since each and every don't predict time to sleep. You just find yourself asleep after a time of conversation. Something that really disturbed Henry's mind was knowing how his family was. He made a quick decision that he was going to visit his family however much the though the attack was. It was his conclusion before he went to sleep though on the cold floor but since they were very exhausted from the daily fight, that could not hinder them from sleeping.
Early the next day, Henry was woken up by the birds that were happily singing there melodies songs to welcome the day in a style. It was a routine in Miho for such to happen since the birds were very accurate in time management. Since there was no water to take a shower, they just moved out but just washed their faces with bottle water. They also carried some food and water in their bags since they were not sure to predict what could happen next. Henry closed the shop door and ensured that it had been strongly held up. The morning was very chilly and the the moisture from the mountains brought a shivering condition to them.
They wore their heavy black chambers. These could at least attract some wamth in their bodies. "The next step we are taking is moving towards the Miho slums. I have to check on my family before going on with the fight. Am also endangering your life so am going to leave you in the slums for you to be at safe side." Henry said. John took a breath and replied, "are you trying to mean that you are a resident of the slums? I would have wished to agree your statements but unfortunately I can't live in slums and am also determined in fighting for this planet. Am going to fight however tough it will be. Am going to die for the human race to prosper." Henry wasn't happy at all to concur with John. He just agreed with the decision made by John though not from his heart.
They moved towards the slums by the use of legs as their only means of transport since all other means had been shut down due to the chaos. "At ease, alert, at ease alert, forward move." This was a unique sound heard by the two gentlemen as they were heading towards the slums. They stood to listen keenly and locate the direction such voice was originating from. After keen listening, they realized that the voices were coming from a certain building a distance from where they were. Since they had for a long time looking forward to interact with the human race at large, they decided to move towards such a place to confirm what was going on. The voices were exactly those of human race so they went confidently and happy.
After a short time of motion, they finally approached that building. A big billboard had been raised at the top of the building with a clearly written note. This was the note, "This is an area protected with powers to save human race. Whoever enters here is safe from attack by other races." After reading this statement, they were all filled up with joy and laughed loudly. Henry then shouted to alert people inside the building. He was only attracting their attention for them to come and check what was happening. From there, they could find a sure way to enter the building easily. It was only a technique from Henry. After they shouted, the the voices from the building immediately stopped.
Within no time, two armed men were seen matching out of the building. They were armed to kill. John and Henry were standing at a place that they were not easily seen. After confirming that the armed men were very familiar. They moved at an open place to be clearly seen. After the armed men saw them, they open the gate for them to enter. A certain ritual was performed on them before allowing them inside the building. It was a ritual to protect them from being attacked by the other races. After entering inside, Henry saw a group of special men called awakeners who were busy coming up with different methods to encounter the other races. A quick interview was imposed on the two because they were both armed.
"Where have you been for all this long time of chaos?" One of the awakeners asked. Henry didn't wait since he was very active, "we have been fighting for the human race." A loud laughter was heard followed by a voice, "do you think we are fools. The other races are too dangerous to be attacked by little boys like you. Armies have fought using digital equipment but they were defeated. How did you manage to fight with such inferior tools?" John and Henry smiled together and John said, "My friend here came to our house fighting with the other races and saved me. I thought it was a joke until I also tried fighting with such tools. These are the tools that are non resistance by the other races." Henry interrupted the speech, "everything being talked is the true record of how it happened. We have managed to kill some goblins and dragons by the use of these."
"Then enter the building to tell us more about this," an awakener said. John and Henry entered the building. At the building entrance, everyone turned to observe them. Henry saw members of the human race that had remained in the slums gathered there. He quickly passed his eyes to see the Smith's family because that was his priority. He again checked keenly in the crowd but his eyes never came across one of his family members. He was only seeing people from his slums but never saw his family members. This was something that gave him unexpected headache due to many thoughts. He remained confused for a period of time until the people around him were shocked.
Henry thought that his family had been murdered by the other races. All in all, this was only a guess work. John touched on his shoulders to check what was happening on him because that was a strange behavior being experienced by Henry since he made John. John then wanted to know more. "What is happening with you?" John replied, " I expected my family members here the moment I saw people from slums but to my utter surprise, I haven't seen them. This is something that is really disturbing my mind." Henry remained with his head facing down in dispair. John then added, "they might be just around or they are in other place because we are not sure of how many safety places have been created." This was a statement that left Henry with some hopes. They then moved to the interview room to questioned on how they managed to survive.
Henry went on looking around with hopes that he could see his family. He entered the interview room but just somehow absent minded. His senses were reading somewhere else. Infact, to save time, he never waited for questions, he just went direct to answers. "We fought the other races by the use of these swords, spearheads and arrows." People inside the room were shocked because they had not yet asked them. They had not even introduced themselves. Henry turned to John and said, " you remain here to answer those questions. Am going to check my family and I will be back within no time. Byebye."
John said, "how can you leave me here and were have been together but it is okay if you will be back shortly." People inside the room just looked at them in awe. Henry then turned to get out of the building immediately.
Before he moved out, he was stopped immediately by those in charge of the human race. "Where are you going? Don't you see that you are endangering your life?" Henry turned to them and replied,"I have to check on my family first, I will be back shortly."
