The awakeners insisted that Henry should remain in the building but he rushed out immediately and headed towards the slums. John remained in the office to give full information on how they managed to survive. Henry was at that moment free since he was alone and very secured. He ran towards Miho slums which was only a small distance from the human race residential that had been created. With his fighting equipments, he was sure that anything that he could encounter that could be dangerous to his life wouldn't harm him. He never forgot his magic metal since it was very essential to him.
The love that he had to his family could not allow him to stay away from them. The whole period he way out of his family was very stressful to him. This was the only chance that he had to visit his family though he was not sure if they were alive but his conscient never trembled. Through the slope, he navigated keenly not to be attacked by the other races. He was not in fighting mood since his worries were on the family . It never took him long time before he reached Miho slums. He was shocked at his first sight at the slums. There was massive destruction that added more worries in him. Due to this, he never hesitated, he went directly to his residential slum.
He raced quickly despite the usual scenes in the slums to observe. He had a reason to do so because life was more valuable than the human-made materials. On arrival, this were very different on the ground. He found all the area surrounding his redential place very safe and then human race was on the normal activities without any harm. It was only a small area surrounding the house that belonged to the Smith's family. The rest of the slum had been mercilessly destroyed. Tears of joy ran down his cheeks as he moved closer to their house. It was something that he never expected. In his motion, a mechanical voice echoed in his mind.
[Congratulations for binding to the dominator system. You are at a very safe place. Your family will remain resistant to other races and anybody closely related or associated with the Smith's family will also be covered from the dangerous races. All your family members are safe.]
Henry remained in a state of confusion and immediately when the voice disappeared, he became active. He moved into the house just to confirm the truth that his family was safe. On the door step, he heard some voice from the house. This was the time he became more assured that his family was still alive. He quickly knocked the door and immediately entered even before he received the response. This was their house and him entering without being welcomed wasn't a big deal. Inside the house, he saw his parents and all family members at the table looking confused. From the guess of things, the knocking of the door may be the cause of such fear and anxiety because they were very active before the door was knocked. This could be an obvious thing because during chaotic periods, each and everyone is always active and sensitive.
His parents recognized him at a distance and laughter was heard at the table. This was closely followed by the standing of his parents. All the other family members were just still wondering of what was happening at that moment. They never recognized Henry because some years had gone without any interaction and he had grown big. His appearance had completely changed. But that could not confuse his parents to recognize him because once a parent is just a parent. Once the wisemen said,"the pain of a child only a parent knows," and this was a confirmation that Henry's parents could just recognize him however much he grows and make changes. The house turned it a hive of joy and celebrations. His parents warmly welcomed him through warm greetings that were accompanied by countless hugs.
Henry greeted his family members happily but to some utter surprise, he looked as if he was in a hurry rushing somewhere. He never placed his belongings down but rather sat on his three-legged stool with his bag on the back. He was still in the war moods and never wanted someone to change that mood. He looked very different as usual. He was given some water and food at the same place. He took food as he conversed just to catch up with the family members. His little brother had at least grown. This was something that gave Henry more hopes. He really enjoyed meeting his family again after a long period of time. Despite him enjoying, something was still disturbing his mind and that how he was going to fight the other races to gain more powerful potions and become an awakener.
"I have been out to make the human race successful and am still going out out for war." This was the statement issued out by Henry to the Smith's family. His parents were reluctant to accept such but he chose to go since he was very sure that his family was very safe from any attack by other races. He was going to fight freely without any worries. He stood from the stool said goodbye to his family members and majestically moved towards the door indicating a sign of excit from the house.
He had no time to waste since the other races were out to ensure that they completely finish the human race. Immediately he stepped outside the house, he looked up for a moment and then looked at his sides. He clicked and moved in large steps indicating his anger on what had happened on the slums. His fighting equipments were very ready on his back just waiting for an enemy to the people. He was to move far away from secured places to encounter the other races. Before he went, he decided to branch to the human residential building to report because he had promised the awakeners that he was to go back within no. It would have been lack of respect if he went without informing them. He quickly raced towards the southern hemisphere of the planet to meet the awakeners and also say goodbye to his friend, John.
Through the slopes and valleys, he moved. Being a resident who had explored such places for a long time, he used shortcuts to navigate though they were very dangerous since the other races used them as hideout. For a brave young man like him, this was something that could not threaten him. He used the shortest time possible to reach at that building but the labeling had changed. It was written as "Miho new slums residential." The building was the same on the sign board on top was the one that had changed. He just entered because he was very sure with what he was doing. He pushed the gate and pulled several times. He just came to realize that the gate had been completely locked.
Henry moved a step backwards and started looking for something that he could throw on the building to alert those inside. Lucky enough, he never moved for a long distance. His first step was on a blunt stone. He took it and used it. He stretched his hand and targeted the top of the building. The moment the stone landed on the iron sheets, there was a moment of silence in the building. This was followed by some movements from inside. This was the time Henry saw awakener well armed getting outside. They noticed him from a distance and just opened the gate without questioning him. He entered and greeted them and moved straight away into the building to mark his presence.
"I have just confirmed that my family is very safe. I want now to go out to ensure that the rest of the human race is safe." Henry said. This was exactly what he said immediately he entered into the building. He then turned to get out. John saw him from far corner of the building and moved to meet him. Before he got out, he was stopped by those in charge of the building (the awakeners). "This time round you are not going to get out of here until you clearly explain to us. We may too join you for support since were have your story written down." This was a statement from the awakeners that left Henry confused. He knew John had given out all the information.
At that time, John was approaching him after a long time of navigating through people. He stretched his hand to greet Henry and later laughter was heard. These were friends and when friends meet, the bond is always strong. They sat down to talk on the matters arising from the building for the shortest time possible. But before they even discussed of anything, they were both called to enter the senior room within the building for a meeting with the official. He guessed that it could be a strategic meetings on how to encounter other races so with all respect, they entered.
