There are a lot of ways to get transported to another world. You can die by God's mistake, fall into a void, get stabbed trying to save someone, comment on a novel written by a transcendent, have a terminal illness, death by vending machine, get summoned, and most commonly is death by truck, heck you can even fall asleep and wake up in another world.
Those are not the only ways to get transported to another world though. You can even argue that it's harder to die and not get transported to another world if you think about it.
You might be thinking 'That stuff is fake though.' Or 'I wish.' Or 'That only happens to the MC.' And I would have agreed with you... if it was yesterday that is.
The events that happened today go as follows.
I wake up as I always do, promptly, at 6:30. After my morning routine of showering, brushing my teeth and hair, and getting dressed, I headed off to work. I had a normal office job in a ten story office building. I work on the third floor, handling Customer service or printing papers for my boss.
Nothing abnormal happened until the end of my shift, I clocked out and used the stairs to head down to the first floor. Everything was normal so far, but what happens next might surprise you. No sooner than I took ten steps out of the building a coffee mug fell from one of the top floors and landed on my head.
A freaking coffee mug.
'This just in, office worker dies by coffee mug.'
Is probably what's happening by now.
Back to the present.
I didn't have anyone to mourn my loss, nor will I miss anybody in particular but it's a shame to go so early. I can't really say I'm devastated though as something amazing just happened.
A goddess appeared before me and said some pretty crazy stuff like 'Congratulations for being my hundredth customer.' And 'Customizable reincarnation.'
The whole thing happened kind of fast and threw me off but I was excited nonetheless.
After the goddess' sudden appearance followed by her disappearance, a screen that was slightly transparent appeared. There were a few tabs at the top of the screen that read [World] [Identity] [Talent] [Exchange].
I clicked on the [Exchange] tab first as it was the most intriguing.

I clicked on the 100th customer gift as it was free and was surprised at the generous contents of the gift.

The current most expensive thing was a system, so the free voucher was roughly equivalent to the most expensive thing I could buy. Not to mention that all of the options are yet to be unlocked and I haven't looked at the other tabs yet.
I clicked over to the [World] portion but wasn't too surprised as it was pretty straight forward. I didn't really look through it though as there was only one type of world I wanted to go to.
Without much difficulty I scrolled and found it.
[Cultivation World: A difficult world full of mortals and immortals. With a mysterious energy permeating the air lifespans are significantly longer than those on Earth. The world's are separated between the upper and lower realms.]
It was a pretty simple explanation but I've read enough novels to know what I was in for. I clicked on it and it separated into two.
[Upper Realm: With a higher qi concentration the inhabitants are much stronger than those of the lower realm. The difficulty living in this world was extremely high for the weak.]
[Lower Realm: Highly populated by mortals and less dangerous to cultivators. Lower ambient qi, making cultivation more difficult.]
I was shocked to say the least. These.... are so vague. Usually when looking at a system description it would tell you everything you need to know but these are a little... Never mind.
I only thought for a second before choosing the upper realm. I didn't want a journey of struggling in a lower realm just to ascend and struggle again. I wanted a relaxing laid-back life and no one could stop me.
After choosing the upper realm it brought me to the next screen automatically.

I couldn't believe my eyes, everything was so cheap. I could be the most beautiful daughter of the strongest clan for less than 2,000p. There were more specific options but these were the ones that stuck out the most.
I didn't hesitate to choose the highest class jade beauty as well as the highest class young master. I wanted an easy life and having both of these things would make it easy. If I was only a young master I would probably be face slapped by the protagonist, and if I was only a jade beauty I would no doubt be in the protagonists harem which was also no good. By having them both I could avoid any low tier young masters and protagonists.
The plan was brilliant.

I wasn't to shocked about the low to high class stuff but the named spirit root and constitution intrigued me. I clicked on the named spirit root and dozens of options were displayed before me but I won't bore you with more stuff so I'll just say it. I scrolled through the many spirit roots with short and long descriptions and chose the one that looked the strongest.

I did the same with the constitution and chose whichever looked the best.

The descriptions left a lot to be desired but they were pretty self explanatory. People might think this is overboard or too much for one person. And you know what I think?

I'm going to another world with literal immortals, and I don't want to be anything less than the strongest.
Although both of these were 25,000p it was well worth it to ensure my safety.

I was struggling to choose, on one hand we have a system and on the other we have martial arts perfectly suited to me that are of the highest grade. I had a free voucher and could choose either. A system is good but might have requirements like killing to level up and I don't really lack anything. If I chose the martial arts I would pretty much have the full package.
I thought a little more and decided.

Now I had to choose between glorified life insurance and cheat like comprehension. From all the options I've chosen it wouldn't be an exaggeration to call me a genius the likes of which might never be seen again. But I wasn't sure if I'd have good comprehension. What if I reincarnate only to find out I can't understand the martial arts I've already chosen. And if I don't pick the life insurance what if I'm struck to death by lightning as soon as I'm born?
I had to make a sacrifice to ensure my perfect life in another world. I had to sacrifice something precious in order to obtain both.
I scrolled up a little and reluctantly pressed the first option.

I could do without my personal memories as I wouldn't lose much except for the experiences I've had.
After some thinking I decided it wouldn't be so bad to be reborn and experience everything as a native to that world. I would still keep the knowledge I've accumulated. It was hard for me to imagine the difference in knowledge and personal memory, maybe I'd just forget myself and keep everything else?
There was no use thinking about it, I clicked on the overpriced plot armor along with the ability to understand stuff.
You think that's an oversimplification? Oh well, if you really think about it, that's really all it is.
Without further ado I clicked on those two and confirmed.

I looked at the screen and my eyebrow twitched a little. Did it really have to say that? I probably won't remember when I wake up anyway.
I sighed and looked at the screen with anticipation, my next life was one click away. I reached down and pressed both yes options at the same time.

I chuckled nervously when I read that, I just couldn't help myself.
Almost immediately after I read that my vision went black.
