"What's your name?" "My name is Leon, you?" "Celina." "Beautiful name you got." "Thank you, please let me repay you for this." "Since you're insisting, a meal would sound nice." "Sure." Leon kept the ice pack there for 20 mins while we continued chatting. He apparently also has interests in writing and drawing. He made many paintings, he never showed to anyone . My ankle seemed to feel a little better. At least I could walk slowly.
Leon offered to help me home, but I kindly declined because my home was around the corner. We then said our goodbyes and went our separate ways. After arriving home I started writing again, about James, our first date. I didn't even realise hours passed, until James texted me. 'Hey, wyd' 'I'm writing' 'Cool about what?' 'Our first date.' 'Our date must be really memorable, will you let me read it?' 'Sure, it's about us anyways.' 'Hey tomorrow I'll be at your house around 7:20am' 'See you then, goodnight' 'Night, Celine'
School started around 8am, so I always woke up around 6:30. Today I decided to tie my hair, since I had my hair down most of the time, I went downstairs and ate toast and egg my mum made for me before leaving for work. My ankle felt better but was still pretty sore, so I walked out and saw James at the front gate. I ran up to him and he waved up a bag, with banana milk. "You bought me banana milk?" "Of course." I smiled as he poked the straw into the milk and gave me it.
"It was boring at home yesterday."
He said to me, still looking straight ahead. "It was boring for me too, without you life is too boring." He looked away and I could see he got shy. I just looked away and smiled. We arrived at school and I saw Stella and Terry, just as Stella spotted us, I don't know why but I quickly pushed James behind the wall and pinned him. "Wait, Stella doesn't know we're dating." He replied "So what?" "We can't let her know, not yet." "How come?" "Just trust me on this." "Alright."
I then pulled James out from behind the wall and walked to Stella and Terry. "Hey Terry, Stella." "Hi, is something wrong?" "Something wrong? Of course not." They just looked at me confused and walked to our classes. We took our seats and I saw a familiar person walk in, it was Leon?? What was he doing here? Stella then whispered to me "Rumour has it, that dude in our class never comes to school because he's also an assassin like his dad and was too busy for school." 'Assassin?' I thought to myself, thinking of how ridiculous that was.
Everybody was giving him stares and whispering to each other. Leon then took a seat next to James. James looked at him and said "This seat is taken." His seatmate then came, "You wouldn't mind switching seats with me right?" James' seatmate just agreed and walked to a different seat. "Now the seat is taken, by me." Not sure, but I felt a tense between them two, they were just glaring at each other, until the teacher walked in.
At lunch, Leon turned to me and I kinda wished he'd pretend we didn't know each other. "Celina, right?" "Yea." "Nice to meet you again." Stella gave me a shocked look, "You two know each other?" "Sure, we met yesterday at the library." "We did?" I swear at that moment I wanted to sink into the seat as James gave me a look. It's okay, it's not like I went on a date with Leon or anything. "Celine, let's go get lunch." James told me, I just nodded and got up and then Leon said "I've never seen you around." "That's because you're never at school." "I'm hungry, I'm going to join you guys." Nothing wrong with Leon joining but it'll be awkward.
Just as things couldn't get any worse James and Leon sat next to me on each side. Stella and Terry just stared at us, not touching their food, no one was. "Celina you got something you need to tell us because this is kinda.." "Let's eat!" I told them, as I started eating, they didn't eat at first but started to. I felt like vomiting out all my food right there, it was so uncomfortable.
After school James caught up with me to walk home together, "You okay? You seem overwhelmed." "I wonder why James." Instead of heading home straight away, we stopped by the park with the lake. Whenever I was there, everything that was on my mind disappeared. James and I didn't talk most of the time and just watched our surroundings. "Let me take you somewhere tomorrow." I slowly turned to him, "It'll be fun I promised, you'll find out when we get there." "Okay. Let's head back now."
I literally fell onto my bed, exhausted from the rough day. I already had piles of homework to do, so I couldn't sleep now. I got up and went to my chair and sat down, first I started on my maths homework, my weakest subject. I managed to finish after 20 mins of struggling, and started on my English homework, which was my favourite and strongest subject. Just as I was about to fall asleep I hit my head hard on the table, I looked in the mirror and my forehead was really red. *Hears a Knock on the bedroom door* "Sweetie, are you okay? I heard a loud thud!" "I'm okay mum!" That was how hard I hit my head to the point my mum heard all the way from her bedroom. I should go to sleep, I'll have enough time to finish the homework before english in the last period.
