Annocoi was standing in his room packing, his parents were forcing him to go to LA for his little brother's birthday. He was about to stop packing and tell them he wasn't going. As he did that his mom yelled up to him.
"Annocoi, are you almost ready to go honey," "No," Annocoi yelled back. "Well hurry up or we are going to be late checking into the hotel," yelled his mother. "We check in at 5:00 and it is only 8 am" Annocoi thought. "Where else are we going that requires us to spend the rest of the day to get there." He scratches the back of his head, thoughtfully thinking of where they could be going.
He decided not to stop packing and see why it would take all day to get to LA. When he came out of his room with his suitcase his mother smiled at him. After a few moments of getting bags in the car, his parents started driving. A few minutes later Annocoi drifted off to sleep.
When he awoke he looked around to see where they were, but when he asked his parents they said "a surprise." Although Annocoi thought they were gonna eat when he and his family got to la, his parents stopped by some kinda fast food place and they went in and ordered.
Annocoi was then sitting at a table in the restaurant with his family, a few minutes later eating lunch. When he finished he went to the bathroom to wash his hands and clean his face. as he slapped the ice cold water on his face his black hair drooped down to where he could not see. He wiped the hair out of the way and looked in the mirror, his dark blue eyes, only two shades off from black, stared back at him. Annocoi knew he had inherited them from his great grandfather arthur.
The door opened pulling him from his thoughts. He looked suspiciously at the door as a man wearing a suit too fancy to eat at such a fast food place walked in. "I don't suppose you're here for the food," he said. "Now why would you think that young boy," the man said villainously. Anoccoi walked out suspicious of the man.
He saw his family standing up from the table ready to leave. "Ready, son," said his dad. "Yes, sir!" Annocoi said, anxious to get out of there. His father nodded, smiling. Before they left, Annocoi noticed the man from the bathroom walk over to two other well dressed guys that didn't belong. One of the men tapped his ear and said something like "he's here, finish the mission." his father heard that. Annocoi watched his father's eyes widen in terror. He looked back to see the men get up and walk towards them. "Run," his father said, "and be a leader to them," he said, looking at annocoi. "No, you're coming with us right," asked annocoi. "No, not now but if I survive, I will find you and we can talk about this then. Right now, go far away from this place and don't come back," his father replied quietly. He didn't want to. Annocoi looked at his mother, she nodded. "No no," he thought, frantically trying to get out of this mess. He stared at his siblings deciding. Although he hated the idea, he had to do it. "Let's go guys," Annocoi said, he looked to his mother and asked "Are you coming?" She nodded slowly, but looked down, keeping herself from crying. Annocoi nodded his head toward the door, telling his sibling to go. He looked back to his dad. The men in suits were cracking their knuckles menacingly still walking towards them. "They were walking at a slow pace???" thought annocoi, tired of this already. His brothers and sister were already crossing through the parking lot. Annocoi walked out the door, but when he got into the exact center of the road a car came racing around the corner of the building at top speed. The last thing he saw before the car hit him was his mother and his sibling looking back at him, their eyes widened. Annocoi started running trying to get to the other side, but he was too late, the car had hit him and he heard a gunshot
at the same time. He watched as he flew through 2 brick walls connecting an alleyway to the road. Everyone thought Annocoi was dead but surprisingly he wasn't. "Why am I still alive?" he thought. looking back at the glass door of the restaurant seeing what looked like his fathers body sitting leaning against it blood dripping down from the bodyand puddling up on the floor. After what he saw Annocoi completely blacked out.
