A red haired, blood red eyed boy was standing in the front of a martial arts dojo, standing in position for a duel. As the instructor chose the opponent for the boy. He was lost in thought. The dojo was small, but there was, at least three rooms to it. In the boy's opinion the dojo had an L shape if you looked at a picture from a satellite. In others opinion it looks like someone grabbed someone's else's wrist mid-punch.
"Who will be facing Dakota?" The guys jumped up wanting to fight him. They knew how weak he was compared to them. Out of the corner of Dakota's eye he saw a girl raise her hand.
A brown haired, blue eyed girl. The one person Dakota hated the most. thinking she was so cool because her grandfather was the dojo's master. The instructor smiled, "Okay, Nessa go ahead," her smile wasn't genuine, it was mischievous.
"Sooo ready to get this over with newbie," She said in a sneer. Dakota looked around and said, "you're the only newbie I see here." One of boy's got up yelling "Don't talk to Nessa like that freak!!!" said Dakota's brother. Laughing Dakota looked at Nessa. "Seriously you need a guy to stand up for yourself," when Dakota was done laughing he got back into position for the spar. "She's angry, good" Dakota thought smiling. As the match started he got serious.
The first thing Nessa came at him with was a twirl kick to the ribs. Dakota blocked it by lowering himself and putting his arm up. Dakota countered with a stomach jab right before the blow landed. Nessa pushed his hand down and kneed him in the face. The attack made Dakota stumble, the last attack Nessa was able to make was a triple kick to his stomach. Dakota's eyes widened, his pupils dilated, his eyes lost their color turning a light gray, as he got up.
The reason Dakota was called a freak was not because of how he acted but, because the more hits he took the faster he became. And right now those triple kicks made him faster than any high tier fighter in here. Nessa watched him confused, but as soon as their eyes met she was filled with terror. Dakota had disappeared from Nessa's sight and was now behind her. By the time she got halfway turned around she felt a kick to her side. She flew across the room and into a wall effectively knocking her out
Everyone stood shocked as Dakota returned to his boring self and walked back to his seat.
