Olivia's POV:
"What should I do? I can't take back the words I said to you; it doesn't work that way," I said, and he nodded.
"Then it should serve as a lesson to you: never say words you can't take back because they will stay engraved in that person's memory for life," he said, and I blinked severally. Only now did it make sense to me.
I shouldn't have said everything I said in the morning, and I was angry with Mr. Adams for telling Mr. Bennett no one could love him while I also said those things.
Saying harsh words to someone is so bad. "I am sorry," I said honestly, and he kept glaring at me.
"I couldn't concentrate at work because you called me names. I can bear the fact that many people don't like me and will always say bad things about me. But if you do the same, then I don't think I will survive." His words were clear and warmth to the heart.
