Olivia's POV:

 

I swallowed hard and slowly walked in. They all turned their attentions towards me as my father looked away with a guilty look.

 

Now I understand why he couldn't call me himself; he still felt guilty about the debt, and Grandma reminded him.

 

"Olivia, come here," Grandma said, walking towards me.

 

"Why didn't you tell me about the wedding? Why did I have to hear it from some blonde lady?" she asked, and my brows furrowed.

 

What blonde lady?

 

"I didn't want to worry you," I said, and she sneered.

 

"You are like your father; you both lie a lot... You are both dishonest people," she blurted, and I felt hurt.

 

Everything she said was true. I also lied to Mr. Bennett yesterday, and I felt bad about it.
