Olivia's POV:
The doctor insisted, and I had no choice but to take the test. I walked to the bathroom and did the test before walking to her with it.
"There is no light," I said, and she chuckled.
"Wait a while," she answered before taking the test from me.
"Oh, here it is."
I quickly seized the test from her and saw two bold red lines. My heart skipped. I was pregnant, but these tests could be deceitful at times.
"What if it's a mistake?"
"That's why I brought this," she said, taking out a packet of the pregnancy test from her bag, and I smiled before going back to the bathroom to do another test again and again.
They all showed the same result: "I am pregnant; I will have a child." I kept jumping happily when she quickly held my hand.
"Don't stress up."
My mind drifted to the reason why I had my first miscarriage. "Thanks a lot. Can you not tell my husband the news?" I pleaded, and she frowned, a little confused.
