Alex's POV:
"Get to know me first," I said, and she chuckled.
"We have lived together for so long; if there is someone who knows you in this world, then it's me."
"I am no longer the same."
"You changed overnight?" she asked sarcastically.
"We are communicating smoothly; this is a sign." I winked at her, and she rolled her eyes.
Where did her mom and Tasha go? I couldn't spot them.
I stood there for an hour, but Olivia didn't invite me in; she watched a movie, made herself a coffee, and completely ignored me. It was time to take Olivia to see Penda, and Penda had a lot of explaining to do.
"I will see you again tomorrow; leave a chair outside for me," I said, and she didn't even look at me.
I sighed and walked to my car before staring upstairs to see if she had come out, but she didn't. so I drove out as my heart was filled with pain.
