Olivia's POV:
I smiled at her. "Welcome," I said before my mother walked in.
"Olivia, you are here," she said, and I nodded. "Grandma?" I asked curiously.
"She followed your dad to the shop, saying she was going to show them new furniture designs," she chuckled, and I nodded. That was so like her.
"Can we talk?" I asked, and she understood I didn't want to talk with Tasha present.
Tasha rolled her eyes and increased the music volume before sitting on the sofa. "Come help me in the kitchen," mother said, and I followed her to the kitchen. Once we got there, I made sure Tasha was sitting on the couch before talking.
"Alex knows," I said, and my mother looked confused.
"He knows my secret, and he doesn't hate me," I said happily, and this made her smile.
"Is that so? Did you tell him the truth yourself?"
I shook my head in denial. "He found out on his own."
