Chani Gordon watched as the man carried her to the elevator, then watched the numbers on the elevator screen slowly descend until they got to 5, and the man finally carried her out and stopped in front of a room door.
Just as Chani Gordon was about to yell, she saw three digits on the room door's sign, dazzling and decorated with hearts. Chani Gordon's mouth opened wide but then lost the power to close.
