Mr. Gordon didn't even think twice before blurting out such a narcissistic comment.
"So, are you saying your Mummy fell in love with me, your Daddy, at first sight?"
Upon considering this possibility, Mr. Gordon felt unusually good.
"Daddy, you're so full of yourself!" Bella's eyes crinkled in amusement. "If Mummy heard that, she'd probably die of laughter."
"No, she would be even happier if she knew!"
Michael Gordon bent down to kiss Bella's forehead. When Ivy Aretha was mentioned, Michael's heart ached. If only he hadn't lost his memory back then, she wouldn't have had to suffer so much raising a child alone. He regretted missing out on so many years with his girl.
