Michael Gordon was stunned. He had long felt that his daughter was hyper-intelligent, always speaking with an air of an old soul. Yet now, he realized just how naive she really was.
Thus, he breathed a sigh of relief and then exhaled again, before elaborating, "Daddy wanted to tell you that you were not the product of a one-night stand between Daddy and Mommy, but rather from the love between Daddy and Mommy!"
Could this small difference be something the little girl understood?
However, looking at the thunderstruck expression on his daughter's face, Michael felt unsure again. He really couldn't figure out his daughter, who at times acted like a genius but was slower than normal children at other times. His wife's educational methods were truly baffling.
Either way, he decided to explain anyway, lest the little girl might start imagining things if she didn't understand.
