Ivy Aretha raised her head and kissed the man's chin, then added with a light chuckle, "But my cooking skills are mediocre, as you know. It's the thought that counts. These days have been tough on you, sweetheart!"
Ivy Aretha had never been one to soften others. She'd always imagined that saying such words would make her uncomfortable. However, when she actually said them, she found that the goosebumps she thought she would feel never came. Instead, she felt the excitement of wanting to express her deep love!

Having Queen Aretha cook for him as a gesture of consolation made Mr. Gordon feel incredibly flattered. But then, wasn't this kind of "Queen" supposed to serve others?
