Ivy Aretha hid in the bathroom to sort herself out. When she opened the menstrual supplies that the waiter referred to as for Mrs. Gordon, she was shocked. There were more than twenty packs, each with a different brand: Whisper, Sofy, Kotex, ABC...
There were so many brands that she had never heard of, and she wondered how Michael Gordon, a grown man, knew about them all. Ivy imagined Michael wearing a duckbill cap and a big mask, sneaking around the feminine hygiene products section, throwing packets of menstrual pads into his shopping basket and occasionally looking around to see if anyone was watching. Hilarious!
As she shook off her daydream, Ivy slapped her own flushed cheeks and took a shower. When it was time to change into pajamas, she felt that the twenty-something brands of menstrual pads were not something shameful for CEO Gordon.
