Chapter 8 - 08, Male God Michael Gordon

As expected, when Ivy Aretha looked at Michael Gordon again, his enchanting face that was just smiling like a demon had now turned as dark as Bao Gong. Even though she knew Michael might be a high-level executive in the company, Ivy couldn't help but laugh.

Seeing this scoundrel getting embarrassed was more satisfying than him scolding her.

"Good, very good, Ivy Aretha. Come over here!"

Michael could no longer bear it. This damned woman spoke poisonous words yet could still laugh so innocently, dazzling everyone around her. She infuriated him so much that he wanted to choke her right then and there.

"It's work time now, and you're not my leader. On what grounds can you order me?"

Ivy gave him a glance and continued to sort out the documents in the office. She didn't believe it; this was the company, and he wanted to take revenge in public?

Good, very good, this damned woman had such courage to speak to him this way. No one in Andras City would dare to speak to him like this, let alone a woman who was his employee.

Seems like she really wouldn't cry unless she saw the coffin.

When Ivy said this, everyone in the Legal Department felt their hearts leap. She was a newbie who wasn't afraid of tigers. No one in Allure International couldn't be managed by Michael.

Sophia Young's face turned silly, and after a while, she reacted. Perhaps Ivy, who had just arrived, didn't know that this was the Boss himself. Sophia was about to remind her when Michael's lazy voice interrupted.

"If I don't move you during work hours, do I move you during blind date hours?"

Michael raised his eyebrows at Ivy and deliberately bit the words "blind date" heavily, with a strong hint of threat. Ivy's heart thumped.

This scoundrel wouldn't threaten her with this, would he?

Count him ruthless! She really didn't want her colleagues to laugh at her as soon as she started working. How would she continue to work in the future?

"CEO, how come you have time to visit our Legal Department?"

Before Ivy could speak, the voice of Maria Young, the Head of the Legal Department, floated in from outside the door. She looked up to see Maria coming in from outside. As she saw Michael leaning against the doorway, her heavily made-up face instantly blossomed into a flower-like smile.

CEO? Ivy's mind exploded with a bang, all the consciousness stored in her mind was blown away, staring at Michael with a pair of big eyes.

This man was the CEO of Allure International?

In her mind, Ivy quickly pulled out the company's profile, the CEO's name... Michael Gordon. No wonder when she glanced at it, she felt familiar as if she had seen him somewhere before, but she didn't pay attention to it.

When she joined the company, she only focused on her professional field and the company's business scope. She didn't pay attention to the company's leaders. After all, she had genuine skills and had never thought of flattering anyone, so there was no need to know them.

Who would have thought that the playboy she provoked yesterday would now be her boss? Based on what he just said, she probably wouldn't be able to keep her job.

"It's nothing as I had something to discuss with Ivy Aretha from your department!" Michael merely glanced at Maria Young, still focusing on Ivy. "By the way, she said I don't have the right to move her, so I have to ask for your permission, Mr. Young!"

When Michael said this, Maria Young's forehead broke out in a cold sweat, her heart thumped into a disease. Did the company have anyone the boss couldn't move?

Michael was implying that she had too much power. Damn Ivy, how did she cause such a big problem just after joining the company?

"CEO, what are you talking about? If you want to move someone, isn't it just a matter of a word?"

Maria immediately piled up a flattering smile. When she turned to Ivy, her voice instantly became solemn, "Ivy, the CEO has something for you, hurry up and go!"

"Yes, Minister!"

Ivy didn't dare to look at Maria's face anymore. She had offended Michael, and it seemed that she would also bring disaster to the entire department.

Michael looked like a scoundrel who would take revenge!

Michael glanced at her indifferently, then turned his head and walked out of the Legal Department without a word. Ivy had no choice but to lower her head and follow behind him.

In her heart, she was wondering if she could continue to stay here. On one side was the offended child's father, and on the other was a salary of 8,000. Dismissal? Resignation?

Yesterday, she had really offended him, and staying in Allure International meant being tormented by Michael. What frightens her the most was that this scoundrel might find out about her precious daughter; what if he suddenly became interested in taking their child away from her? She would go insane!

Although such a thing seemed unlikely to happen, she didn't dare to gamble when it came to her daughter. On one side was the risk, and the other was the money. 8,000! She couldn't get this kind of offer again.

In Andras City, only Allure International could offer a legal specialist such a salary. Would she choose risk or money? Ivy was struggling in her mind...

Forget it; money is more important!

After struggling for a while, Ivy came to this conclusion.

"What happened to that arrogance just now?"

Michael looked at Ivy, who was hanging her head as she followed him into the CEO's office, and spoke in good spirits.

Hearing his voice, Ivy raised her head. A pair of clear, big eyes looked straight at him, then calmly said, "CEO, you called me to the office not because you want to take revenge for the blind date matter and fire me, right?"

It's better to strike first than to be controlled by others. Instead of being passively butchered, it's better to take the initiative and seize the first chance.

Michael was taken aback and then nodded affirmatively, sitting down on the leather sofa in front of the office desk.

He leaned back against the sofa, his peach blossom eyes staring deeply at her. This woman had a lot of guts to mention yesterday's matter under these circumstances.

But it met his taste. He couldn't help it; he liked bullying women with thorns all over them. The sight of her hanging her head just now had disappointed him.

Michael tapped his office desk lazily with his fingers and said indifferently, "Offended? I'm afraid you should add fraud to that too. Don't you think firing you would be too lenient?"

"Then what do you want to do? Just say it!"

As long as it's not dismissal, she could bear whatever he threw at her. After all, she had been through a lot over the years, and she wasn't the kind of woman who sought protection in a man's arms.

However, when he heard this, it sounded like a blatant provocation to Michael. Her big, clear eyes flashed, seemingly flaunting her challenge to the extreme.

"Good, very good. What do I want to do? Well, now..."
