Ethan Herd's face turned red in an instant: "Mum, what are you talking about? When was I ever..."
Ethan Herd cleared his throat: "Mum, why are you asking this? First tell me, how did you get here?"
Helena Zell hastily interjected: "Brother Ethan, I accompanied Aunt here for sightseeing. The tour guide arranged for us to stay in this hotel as he said it has better accommodation conditions. But looking around, it seems rather subpar."
Ethan Herd gave Helena Zell a sweeping glance, too lazy to engage her further.
He told Mrs. Herd: "Mum, just do whatever you need to do. I have to step out for a while. Please don't meddle unnecessarily."
As he spoke, he started to pull Mrs. Herd's arm, ready to close the door.
However, Mrs. Herd pouted, "Son... how disgraceful is it for you to be kicked out by someone every day. Even though you are thick-skinned, I feel so embarrassed for you."
