Ming Jing had the driver go to the police station and parked across the street.
There were quite a few people gathered outside the entrance of the police station. A middle-aged man and a young girl about five or six years old knelt at the door. The man was holding a banner with shocking red characters on it that read: Severely punish the hit-and-run driver and return my wife to good health.
The banner held by the little girl said: The Bodhisattva lives among us; thank you for saving our lives, Ms. Ming Jing.
It was the busy hour when people got off work, and more and more people gathered around. Many elderly men and women with baskets hanging on their arms also joined the crowd, as they couldn't bear to see such a scene.
"Ah, what a disaster from the sky. If it weren't for someone saving them, this family would be broken apart. How pitiful."
"Ms. Ming Jing is really a Bodhisattva incarnate, such a good person."
"Has the hit-and-run driver been caught?"
