"How did this happen?" Mason sternly interrogated.
"We were careful but not careful enough." Diego said.
"Although we were able to destroy most of their properties, they discovered us too early. Don't worry too much, backup will be here any moment from now and then we can finish things here." Thonio added.
"That better be the case." Mason looked up. "Right now we're alone with these goons." They turned to see some of the gang members lined up with different weapons.
Mason swiftly took out the gun that had been hidden in his pants the whole time and shot one of them.
"Split up!" He ordered and they all split up in an attempt to draw them away from Tessy's path.
Leo and Tessy ran far and were now at the edge of a cliff. There was no way down without getting a few scratches. Plus, they didn't have any climbing materials so Leo decided that they would stay there till all the commotion died down.
