Thonio and Diego watched them closely and smelt a rat. They were not totally convinced but had their eyes on them for the time being.
"Why are you like this?" Tessy asked Mason.
"Hm?" He didn't get what she meant.
"Why are you holding me in such a situation? It's like you're always trying to push me off the railtrack of disaster. I'm wishing so hard that you'd leave me to my cruel fate. You're slowly blurring my mind and it's making me make the wrong decisions. But even at that, it's comforting to me. I don't want to get used to this comfort. Why won't you let me go?" She asked but Mason did not give an immediate answer.
Tessy pursed her lips.
'It's all thanks to the curse. I'm blaming it that I'm so mean and cruel to my friends and now another person is lost. It is to blame and so am I.'
"Don't think too much about it." Mason finally spoke up, stroking her hair. "I will never let go of your hand, never!"
