The time for Asuka's meet up with Amelia was fast approaching, but she was still not in the best of moods. Her mind was still filled with thoughts of what had occurred about four hours prior, the entire time she spent under her cover. Every once in a while the feeling of hate would well up again and she would curl into a ball clenching her knees. The entire time Annie remained quiet knowing full well anything she had to say would only make her feel worse.
An hour was now the time left for Asuka to meet Annie at her and she still wasn't budging. This is when Annie finally decided to speak up.
"Asuka. Your time to pick up Annie isn't too far away. Don't you think that you should get ready?"
Asuka did not reply to Annie's suggestion. She quietly got up from her bed and went to take a quick bath. After she cleaned herself, she put on a long sleeve black shirt, black shorts and sandals. She also tied up her hair in a bunch and leaves her motel, heading towards Amelia's house.

Asuka stood infront of the rotting door of the Amelia's home, with conflicting thoughts running through her mind. She raised her hand and was about to knock in the door, but then hesitated with her trembling hands.
"Oh c'mon Asuka. I already told you to forget about what happened earlier. Just go out and have fun."
"I...it's not that simple Annie."
"Oh please, do explain," she asked sarcastically.
A vein popped on Asuka's forehead.
"If you're gonna act like that, then just shut up."
Annie realized what she said hurt Asuka deeply, but wasn't sure what to say to her and decided to comply with Asuka's request.
Asuka then took a deep breath before finally gaining the courage and knocked on the door. Though maybe knocked a little too hard, due to the fist sized hole now in the door.
"Dang it? I accidentally poured anima into my fist."
"Asuka? Is that you," a loud voice asked from behind the door
"Y...yeah," she responded weakly.
"Just hold on a moment! I'll be there out in a minute!"
The sound of quick and clumsy movement that came from inside the house at first didn't concern Asuka, but then she heard a loud crash.
"Shit! Oh sorry mom. I'll remember to watch what I say."
Intrigued she placed her eye on the hole she made trying to peek but she couldn't see what had happened.
"You okay Amelia?"
"Yes! I just knocked over a plate is all."
It was a couple more minutes of Amelia's clumsiness until she finally opened the door, though not before sticking two fingers through the hole in the door and flicking them up and down while making a sound with her mouth. Asuka couldn't help but let out a chuckle at her antics.
When she opened to door, Asuka was in quite the shock seeing Amelia's outfit. No longer was she wearing the blue checkered dress. Now she wore an emerald green sleeveless dress with gold patterns in the front and waist. She had also put her hair in a twisted bun shape. It seemed like she put on a bit of make up, though not enough to be so obvious. She did a twirl to show the full dress.
"Wow."
Hearing Asuka's reaction, Amelia looked at the ground with sullen eyes.
"Sorry. I...I had gotten nervous seeing as this is the first time I've ever been invited out and I guess I overdressed."
"No no no. You look amazing Amelia. I'm actually starting to think that I'm the one who underdressed for this."
Amelia's face brightened from Asuka's words.
"You really think so?"
"Yup. I'm pretty envious of you honestly. I don't think I would look good in a dress."
Amelia tilted her head to the side in a bit of confusion. Asuka was puzzled by Amelia's face, but then she realized that she might not know what 'envious' means.
"I mean that I wish I looked as good as you."
"Oh please don't say such things Asuka. I think the fact that you can look good in regular clothes is what's truly 'envious'," Amelia said with a bit of sass in the end.
Asuka gave a small clap for her using a new word.
"But seriously, thanks Asuka. I needed that."
"Yeah, no problem. Now first, we should get something to eat. Whaddya say we go get some steak. I think I saw one as I was walking here and I'm really craving some right now."
"That sounds delicious. What's steak though?"
A sweat dropped from Asuka's face hearing that question from.
"Don't worry about it. I can assure you though, it'll be a taste that you will never forget."
"Alright, I'll put my faith in you. Lead the way hero."
As soon as those words left her mouth, a sharp pain gripped Asuka's heart.
"Hero huh."
She turned slightly and let out a small chuckle which contradicted the expression on her face. This sudden shift in her mood did not go unnoticed by the ball of energy personified next to her.
"You okay Asuka?"
Asuka quickly shifted her expression giving a small smile.
"Of course. Why wouldn't I be."
Asuka then grabbed Amelia's hand and began to pull her towards the steakhouse.
"Now, we shouldn't waste anymore time. Let's go."
Amelia still had a look of concern on her face, but she decided to set the issue aside for later.
Now their day of fun officially begins.
