The farm was bigger than what I expected. It was more than that. A hundred hectares. The green vegetables grew on the left side while the rest of the plants were on the right.
At the entrance, I could see the reddish strawberries that were waiting to be plucked. They were ripe already yet there were no servants around to get them off those plants. I wondered if it was Alistair's choice to leave them this way or if he knew that they were ripe.
"Are we not going to pluck those strawberries?" I pointed to my left where the plants were. My mouth was savouring looking at them when I could order a maid to get me some from the royal garden.
"I will do it. This is the reason why I came to the farm today," Alistair said. He began to fold the edge of his sleeves up to his elbow. One of the guards behind us handed him a pair of gloves and he wore them. "Would you like to help?"
