In the waiting room, everyone's Patience was growing weary. Mama became uncomfortable and wondered why it took the groom so long to get to the altar.
She looked outside to see if the king's horses has arrived but there was none. Only the guests kept swimming in.
I was scared. Scared of everything. Scared that the king might abandon me now. What will happen to my people? Will my parents pass this humiliation?
Many thoughts ran through my mind and I glared through the window once more. The veil on my face made it difficult for me to see clearly. I pulled it away and I looked harder to see if there was a way of sun.
The queen came to into the room. From her expression I could tell her that she was worried and was beginning to lose faith in her son.
