Shortly after he left, the door opened and Liza walked into the room. This morning, she was wearing a green dress which was my favorite. I admired the fact that she looked beautiful despite everything that had happened to her.
"Good morning, my lady," she bowed and I smiled.
"How was your night, Liza?" I rolled my hair up and tied it to a bun.
"I slept well, my lady. The bed was comfortable," she answered. Liza was different this morning. Something was wrong with her and I saw how anxious she was.
I took my bath and went back to the room. It was neatly arranged. The maids took care of the bed spread I changed this morning.
I sat on the chair in front of the mirror. My reflection surprised me. I did not look like that little girl that worked in this palace for two months.
I have matured within these last few months.
