I was not expecting my parents to show up in Aerendia. I wanted them to be at my wedding, it had always been my dream to walk down the aisle with my papa beside me. Alistair was making that dream come true.
Grandmother's tea party was not boring after all. There were a lot of gossip from corner to corner. Some of the women she invited were her enemies pretending to be friends. I laughed so hard my stomach begin to hurt. Maybe the old woman was not aware.
"You can be mingle with them but once you become the queen you won't enjoy this privilege," Margaret said. She walked beside as I strolled around. The party was going on the balcony.
"Why?" I asked.
"Alistair won't give you such time," she laughed, as her eyes shifted to the wall. I knew she was been naughty.
They all thought Alistair was in love with me. Well, he made it clear that he wasn't. This marriage was happening of his mother's hard work and my stubbornness.
