The man then sees an interface window that welcomes him into the game. Now he is in a white void, no sound, can't see anything but himself and the window system.
The system then gives him a choice of class to play with, with a warning that class cannot be changed but other classes can become part of a multiclass.
Seeing this, he knows this game is going to be complicated. He then sees the options that he could choose: assassin, fighter, tank, mage, ranger, cleric, and alchemist.
He then thinks about what playstyle he wants to adopt. Fighter and tank look like frontline classes not suitable for him to rely on. Assassin looks like a hard class to play; it's literally a glass cannon. Cleric and alchemist are support classes not suitable for him either.
Ranger, on the other hand, he knows how to aim from his previous life, and Rangers are supposed to be a support DPS class, so he's not as important as Cleric and alchemist so he can be more relax knowing in his future party he wont bother his team mate to much if he do something wrong.
He made up his mind and take the class then a bow and arrow pouch apper im front of him, he takes it and wear, then a window to name his character.
He doesnt have a real name in this world even as server admin he just went with random name, so he want to make real name for himself and his chsracter in game, he went with Alen.
Then the window system went to making avatar the default is his original face, he dont get bother with this so he keep it as default, then after everything ready he enter the game.
Alen spawn at begginer village, he see many people walking around with their party or pet, even some of them riding a mouth or some short, then when he still analyze the surroundings Sasha voice can be heard from his head.
"Hey... you're in already ?" Alen then replie "yes im in... im at the begginer village" with calm and cold tone sasha say "that was fast... wait me there i will teleport to that village do not go anywhere until i get there"
Alen then wait at his spawn point, then some guy come at him "hey buddy ! Are new to the game ?" Say one of them with friendly tone "wanna partying up with us ?" Alen shook his head "sorry guys im waiting for someone"
Their friendly tone was gone and to be intimidating "are reject us ? We kindly offer you to join us" Alen see this as threat "and i was kindly reject it... whst your problem dude"
"Are you want to fight ? Okay then lets bring this out of save zone so we can fight !" they hatched a ranger even though there were 3 of them and they were all frontline class so its not fair macth up in the first place.
Suddenly a cold voice come from those people back, it was Sasha, she wear a plate armor with long sword on her hips, she is beutiful with dark brown eyes, black and hair tied back her face is flat doesnt really show any emotion but she cleary upset because her friend get into trouble in his day one at the game.
Those guys then left because seeing her level was clearly higher than theirs. She is at level 24, while they are only at level 5-6.
Sasha saw Alen smiling at her. "Thanks... those bastards were really annoying," Sasha nodded. "You'll find many of them as beginners. Supposedly, they are just searching for a party for life type of thing, but they often use force to do it. Anyway, have you distributed skill points to your status?"
"Oh... I haven't, wait a minute," Alen then opened the window to his character's status and saw many stats. As a ranger, he increased his agility, but halfway through, Sasha warned him. "Don't distribute your skill points into one stat only. You need at least 20 strength and 15 endurance if you want, you can increase the amount I recommended to you."
Alen nodded, then he increased his strength and endurance as well, but his HP didn't go up; it's still at 100 points. "Is this a bug or something? Why doesn't my HP go up?" Sasha answered him, "Well, HP cannot go up from stats; you need items to increase it. Endurance is more for damage resistance, and strength is more for stamina and muscle power."
"So, what's the use of muscle power?" Sasha then answered him. "It's for maximum inventory capacity and it also scales the power for fighter and tanker damage. You are a ranger, right? I recommend you to go with 30-40 strength so you could pull a heavier bowstring."
"Got it,... thanks." Now Alen has the status of strength: 40, agility: 75, endurance: 20, and intelligence: 10 (default). "Alright, that was 100 skill points distributed."
"Good, let's start grinding then," Sasha said with a cold tone of voice. At this point, Alen is already used to it. They talk a lot on a private channel, and now they are meeting up, even though it's not in the real world. This is real enough for Alen to enjoy human interaction; he almost lost his mind because he hasn't seen a human for months.
The sky was blue, many plants had grown, and there were many good-looking people around. Sasha then talked during their walk to the gate that separates the safe zone and the hunting zone. "I forgot to tell you, don't believe people's appearance. All of them use character editors, so you don't really know who they are or how they look."
Alen then looks around. Yeah, it's too good to be true if those people really have those appearances. They then reach the hunting area. Sasha then instructed Alen to move behind him and quickly hide in the trees. "Why are we running?"
Sasha then points out a larger group that's roaming, searching for monsters. "They can't kill us yet... but they can kill steal our farm; it can get annoying and slow down our farming..." Alen then nodded, now he understands why they were hiding.
They then get deeper into the forest, walking slowly. The situation was intense for Alen; this is his first time, after all, until they meet a level 1 monster. It was a slime-like creature holding its form like a water ball, with the crystal core in the center of its body.
Go ahead, take a shot,' Sasha said, asking him to shoot the slime as it is still in an open area where he can take aim. Alen then pulls the bowstring, aiming at its core, and then shoots it. The arrow hits and destroys the crystals in the slime's body, then the whole slime was disintegrated. Alen then levels up to level 2 and gains 5 skill points.
But suddenly, a second window appears, showing he leveled up from level 0 to 1. "Why are there two screens saying I'm level up?" Sasha looks confused. "Huh? Maybe a visual bug or something."
Then he sees the second window more clearly. It said "reincarnation system." It was not a game system but his reincarnation system. He then looks at Sasha. "Oh yeah... this is just a visual bug; everything is okay."
"Oh good then... take the slime crystal; it's all yours since you're the one who killed it... just a tip, don't destroy the crystal too much; it will decrease the value in the market if it's destroyed."
"I'll remember that, let's hunt more." Sasha nodded in agreement. They then hunted more monsters like slimes and goblin-like creatures, taking some resources like herbs and other plants.
After 5 hours, they came back to the beginner town to sell all they got from that grind. They sold it to an NPC and gained 300 gold coins. 1 gold coin has a value of 10 dollars, so they have a total of 3,000 dollars from that 5 hours of grinding.
At that point, Alen now knows why many people play this game; the profit from playing this game is just huge. No wonder many grind for days just to earn.
Alen then split it 50-50 between them, but Sasha refused it. 'No... I don't need it,' Alen is, of course, confused. 'Sasha, it's 1,500 dollars; just take it. You took a lot of damage in that forest.'
Sasha shook her head. 'I gained more than 300 gold in 5 hours; you, on the other hand, are going to need those 300 gold for equipment and skill scrolls, so keep it...'
On the other hand, Alen thinks Sasha is just that good of a person. On the other hand, however, why doesn't she want the money? Yeah, it's maybe just a fraction of what she can earn, but still, it doesn't make sense.
"Anyway im logging of... this day was fun see you later Alen..." Sasha then gone logging of for that day, same as Alen he feel kind of tiren and logging of, and after he awake in real world, his body feels weak and he almost cannot stand, he make his way to his bed and lay on them, then he thinks abkut just what he did with Sasha was fun and the money they earn is worth it... even more than become a admin that moderating a server, he then sleep for tomorrow that will comes.
