Juliette was stunned. What did it mean?
Wasn't her child already dead?
Without waiting for her to think for a few more seconds, Lance had clapped his hands. Frankie wore white gloves and came in with a square box covered with a black cloth.
Juliette thought of something, and her expression suddenly became terrified.
Her hands trembled, and she shouted at Frankie, "Don't come over. Don't come over."
Frankie seemed to have not heard it. Other than Lance, Frankie did not have to obey anyone else.
Frankie carried the box and ignored Juliette's fear. He walked up to her and lifted the curtain.
"Ah!"
After a brief silence, Juliette screamed in fear.
The child in the container... Or strictly speaking, it could no longer be called a child. It was more like a monster.
It had four legs and eight fingers. Its round face was barely recognizable, but it did not have a nose or a mouth.
