In the classroom, seated in a roll different from their regular seats with Ranella and Alex placed in front of Liam and Beatrice.
Liam was busy staring longingly at Ranella from behind, he wanted to touch and feel the texture of her hair, it looked so soft and silky. He could smell the rose shampoo from where he sat and it was becoming intoxicating.
On the other hand, Beatrice was also staring at Alex who kept glancing at Ranella. The scene looked so surreal that whoever noticed the scenario would be laughing their ass out.
A middle-aged man almost in his sixties was teaching the one-dimensional subject\ also known as the one-dimensional subject.
"As a mutant teacher specializing in interdimensional subjects, my role would be to educate and guide students in understanding and harnessing the powers and knowledge related to dimensions, multi-verses, and dimensional portals." Teacher Harry explained.
He was a very cold and strict teacher so no one dared to mess with him like they did with other teachers. And the respect was there since he was old enough to birth most of the class.
"I would provide a comprehensive curriculum that covers the theoretical aspects of interdimensional magic, including the study of different dimensions, their characteristics, and how they interact with each other. This would involve exploring concepts such as the multiverse theory, quantum mechanics, and the nature of reality." He said again using his holographic ability to make holograms of the universe, was very helpful in a subject like this.
Liam was trying his best to listen, it would help a lot with the upcoming exam and also his studies but the universe had other plans for him, her scent was too intoxicating, she smelled like Roses dipped in sugar and with that, he just couldn't focus.
''What's wrong, you don't seem well," Bea whispered to him, at first he wanted to snub her like the cold guy that he was but when he glanced at her and saw she was Ranella's best friend for some reason, he wanted to make a good impression and it confused both of them.
"Ye--yeah, I'm fine you don't have to worry," He said, tucking his long hair behind his ear.
Beastaredd at him with mouth opened agape, she was both surprised and confused. She had expected him to ignore her like he does to most people but he answered her, and this was the longest sentence he had ever said to her since she started attending this school.
"Are you listening Miss Beatrice?!" Teacher Harry said, banging his stick on the poor blackboard. She jolted and nodded swiftly.
"Yes Sir," She replied, composing herself.
"As I was saying before I got interrupted, practical training would be an essential part of the education, where students would learn various techniques to manipulate interdimensional energies," He said.
"This might include exercises to develop their ability to sense and navigate different dimensions, as well as the creation and utilization of dimensional portals," He said again.
"Those of you with the ability to create portals would be put to the test since this subject is mainly for you guys," Teacher Harry stated, and groans from the divine students filled the class.
"Teacher Harry, I have a question," A girl said, raising her hand.
"Ask your question, child,"
"I have the the multidimensional portal ability, but for some reason, I cannot use it since it should only be used to travel to other dimensions, is there a way I could limit it so I can use my power more often?" Anne, a petite girl who doesn't say a word in class was asking a question, maybe it was because this subject had something to do with her power.
"Your powers are dimensional, so you should only use them for dimensional purposes, but in the meantime can you please come up here and showcase what the dimensional portal looks like?" Teacher Harry said and Anne stepped up, she was shy, but a diamond in the rough, a lot like Ranella. The only difference was their body size.
With some casting gestures, she swung her hands in a circular motion, at first, sparks began to form and then a sparkly pink Kite-shaped portal came into view, swirling and floating in space.
The students had their mouths opened agape, they expected portals to be round and with a darker or lighter colour but it was the complete opposite.
A growl escaped from the portal and then a monstrous hand shot out of the portal, causing the divine students to scream their lungs out.
"Quick, close it," Teacher Harry yelled, and then with a wave of her hand, the portal vanished into thin air.
"Wow, amazing," Ranella said in amazement, seeing this made her wish and wonder why her powers were taking too long to awaken.
"Thank You, you may return to your seat Miss Maxwell," Teacher Harry said, closing up his briefcase.
"Next time, we will be discussing our universe and why our earth is filled with mutants. Class dismissed," Teacher Harry said and then left the class.
The Noise increased as soon as Teacher Harry stepped out of the classroom.
"I'm hungry, Let's go eat something," VC said, they occupied the seat in front of Ranella and Alex.
"Yeah, that sounds like a good idea," Bea said, reaching out from her seat and clinging to Ranella who was in front of her.
"So let's go, it's Taco Thursday," Alex said and Leo yelled with a 'whoop!'
Liam didn't say a word, silently watching Ranella and his face turned a few shades darker when Alex put his arm around Ranella's shoulders.
And the thing that made him angrier was that she didn't shrug him away. But why should she, he was not her boyfriend so why was he suddenly feeling possessiveness?
She was free to hang out with whoever she wanted to, why should he care? He was the one trying to make her fall in love with him but why does it seem the other way round?
"You coming?" Leo asked.
"No," He simply replied.
"Ok suit yourself," Alex said as they were walking out of the class with his arm still around Ranella, while Liam sat there just watching in disdain.
"After that we should go Karaoke, Alex and Ranella would do a song together," VC said with a smile.
Argh, curse that Vincent, why was he making things a lot harder than they already were?
"On second thought, I'm coming along!" Liam said, standing up from his seat and strolling to meet them.
At the cafeteria, ANGELZ along with Bea and Ranella had lunch together, at the same desk, this sparked some attention from other divine students.
Charlotte and her coheirs who were sitting at the cool table couldn't help but take a glance at them, they were laughing and having fun.
"I think they're getting closer and very soon they might be inseparable," Cassie said, observing them.
"Oh please, calm down, Liam is doing exactly what I told him to do, he is determined, who knows, I might give him a shot," Charlotte said.
"Char, you should be careful, I have heard about stuff like this and it doesn't always end well for..."
"For what, for me? Do you think Liam might fall in love with Ranella Whitlock, (scoff) Come on, he has better taste than that," Charlotte said cutting off Danielle.
"Just saying, you should have a plan B up your sleeve," Cassie said, munching on the crisp potato chips.
"There's no need for a plan B right now, and besides I don't have the luxury to think of a plan B, OMG," Charlotte said, using her hands to fan her face.
The crew got up and walked out of the cafeteria.
"Where are they going?" Charlotte asked.
"We don't know," They said in unison.
"Then send one of your Bee thingies to spy on them," Charlotte said and Danielle sighed before closing her eyes for a short moment, soon enough, a bee showed up, buzzing at the table and when Danielle outstretched her hand it sat on it, cupping it in her hand she whispered and when she withdrew her hand it flew off.
