I lunge forward on wings of electricity, accelerating at insane speeds. I see a massive grin on Yuji's face as I swing my sword. Yuji swings his fist at insane speeds- sending me flying backwards, and within a second, he was in front of me again, and punched me again. I collide with the ground, causing he ground to shake. My body flares up with purple flame - and on my back, black flaming wings form. I can see the souls of everyone else in the crowd- and my soul seems to be acting like a magnet, and their souls are being drawn toward me.
BAM!!
Yuji had made it down to me and had swung his fist, but I had met it with mine. A shockwave sent a good portion of the people in the stands flying. Our fists still connected, I walked forward, grinning. I swept my hand horizontally, flinging Yuji away.
"So how come I couldn't hit you earlier?" Yuji runs forward, blue flames streaming behind his fists. He feins a punch- but sweeps my legs with a kick. I fall to the ground- but in the blink of an eye, I was behind Yuji, electric fist at the ready. yuji turned around faster than I could react, and grins.
"SOUL RESONANCE!!" An enormous shockwave expels outwards from Yuji, sending me flying backward. "When you coat your soul with Tamajutsu, almost nothing but Tamajutsu can actually do anything to you." I cock my head to the side. "How can I coat my soul with-"
KAWAM!!
I was sent flying backward, but I waste not even a millisecond before speeding away from Yuji, dodging the next strike. I grimace. "Only one way now..."
I stick my hands up, forming the Hebi hand sign. "Neo City Domain-"
"SOUL ZONE!!"
I feel overwhelming cold radiating from Yuji as his attack overpowers mine- and I'm incapable of moving. I wasn't actually frozen, but it felt as if some sort of force was keeping me from moving. Yuji walked forward, smiling. "I imagine a suit of armor over my soul, and focus about fifty percent of my Tamajutsu toward it." He extended his hand- and my soul seemed to be drawn toward it. "Soul Zone is a technique that I created where you rapidly expel your Tamajutsu outward, spreading it everywhere. This allows ou to freely control whatever it touches- and in this case, that includes you and your soul." My soul was being pulled more. "If you don't learn how to control your soul- you will die right now, and I won't do anything to stop it."
I imagined all of my Tamajutsu rushing to my soul, straining my mind. More pull. COME ON!! My soul began to glow purple. YOU DIDN'T BURN THOSE HENTAI MANGA FOR NOTHING!! (he never burned them.) My soul catches fire- still more pull. I could feel my life leaving my body, and my breathes became short and bated.
"COME OOOOOOOOOOON!!!!" My soul pushes Yuji backward, a shockwave emanating from it. It absorbs back into me, and I walk toward Yuji.
He smirks at me, accepting defeat. "I used all of my Tamajutsu for Soul Zone..." He spreads his arms. "Scar on the back is a swordsman's-" I charge my foot with electricity and punt him out of the colosseum.
"-SHAAAAAAAAAAAAAME....!!"
Hopefully he's not dead. The crowd goes wild- and not particularly in a good way. They were screaming and yelling in terror from what we had done to the stage. It had been heated to the max several times, turning it into glass- and then melted again by Shinimaru's flames. It had hardened into jagged spires of glass- but then as Yuji and I fought, we had turned it into a crater.
A group of guards walked me out, and immediately as I did, I could hear the announcer. "UP NEXT WE HAVE...SIKEN THE DEPRESSED MIDDLE-AGED MAN WHO HAS NOTHING BUT ENDLESS SORROW IN HIS EYES AND HAS PROBABLY EVER FELT THE TOUCH OF A WOMAN IN HIS LIFE AND WILL NEVER KNOW TRUE HAPPINES, versus Gin Rumi."
I make it back up to the cell, to my left, a heavily injured Shinimaru. He looks at me angrily. "Be a little original. Flames are my thing." I shove some dirt in his face and sit down. I look out to the arena-pit thing, and Siken and Gin stand across from each other.
"3..."
Siken draws his Katana.
"2..."
Gin flips a card out from his pocket and it forms into a sword.
"1!!! HOW YOU LIKE THAT!? YOU THOUGHT I WOULD DELA-"
KABWOOOOOSH!!
An enormous wave of energy exudes outward from Siken and Gin as they collide in the middle of the arena. Siken backflips backward out of the way. "Let's try not to kill each other, okay?" Gin nods, before charging forward. He makes a slash to Siken's left- who dissapears from eyesight.
"Falling Sakura!!"
Seemingly thousands of slashes dig into the ground, cutting into Gin. Gin sprints toward Siken, throwing his sword. Siken runs toward Gin as well, deflecting the sword. Gin meets Siken in the middle, before jumping, dodging one of the middle-aged man's slashes. Midair, Gin creates a great hammer in his hands and slams downward.
"Divine Counter: One!"
Siken appears to Gin's left- and a number is displayed over his head- the number one. Gin digs his foot into the ground, accelerating forward- and his number increases to two as he moves at insane speeds. Energy crackles around his blade as he slashes it across Gin's chest. "Two!!"
I look over to Shinimaru. "Did- did you know he could do that?" Shinimaru looks to me, disappointed. "You didn't?"
Shinimaru jumps into the air, and makes a slashing motion with his sword- and it begins to glow with red flame as his number increases to three. "Three!!" His number flickers back to two again as he accelerates downward at blinding speeds- but it quickly returns to three as he releases a flurry of red flaming slashes upon Gin, who falls to the ground.
Siken lowers his blade to Gin's neck, whispering something to him. Gin nods- and Siken raises his sword to the air. "FOUR!!"
A massive strike of what I can only describe as power strikes downward toward the tip of Siken's blade, before reflecting off of it, and going in all directions. Shinimaru stands up shakily. I look at him, puzzled. "What're you doing?" Shinimaru frowns. "You really were asleep when we went over this, weren't you?" I crouch down to the ground, defeated. "I don't know anything." Shinimaru melts the bars of our cell. "We needed a big enough of a distraction to escape."
BOOOOOOM!!!
The ground below us begins to crumble as Siken's beam destroys the structure of the colosseum.
I hear the announcer over the intercom. "TELL MY FAMILY I LOVE THEM- AUGHDRFDTFRDRDRCYGIVRDCTDTC!!!" Everything evaporated under the vexation of Siken's beam. I quickly shield myself in electricity- wait. If Yuji was telling the truth, little to nothing should be able to hurt me. I lower my shield- and he was right. I can feel the heat, but I feel no pain. I begin to smile- I'm getting stronger. To my left, Shinimaru also stands, taking the full brunt of the force, but he seems unaffected- probably due to his flame abilities.
The ground below us begins to give out, and I sprout my wings, taking to the skies beside Shinimaru, who propels himself upward with the force of his blasts. Below us, I can see Siken and Gin, both running through the still-falling rubble of the Colosseum, jumping from rock to rock until they are outside of the calamity.
I land beside them, my wings flapping until they disappear. "Let's go get Oiran."
"HUUUUUUUUAAAA!!!"
The shrill yell of the beast that used to be Oiran echoed through the chamber that which she was being held. Two guards stood outside of her chamber, taking notes of some sort.
FSH
A woman appeared next to them in a flash of blinding light. She wore gallant white Chiton robes, had white angelic wings- and her face was twisted in anger. "Any process?" She asked, teeth gritting. The guards had frightened looks on their faces upon seeing her. "L-Lady Aura! The Tithonus seems to be...incompatible. As if her brain hasn't been overridden yet." The other one spoke up. "Perhaps we should put her in the colosseum for testing..."
Upon the mention of the colosseum, the woman's face became completely contorted with rage- and she struggled to get a single word out of her mouth without screaming. "The colosseum- has been destroyed." The two guards shifted back in surprise. "Do you know who did it-"
"NO!!" She screamed. She had never been in such a place of helplessness. She ALWAYS knew everything- and that wouldn't be disrupted by some weaselly peasants. "It wouldn't have done any good if it was intact anyway. We were given SPECIFIC orders to re-deploy her to the Valkyries." Aura walked toward the glass separating Oiran from her, and smiled. Oiran's empty eyes stared back. Aura turned away abruptly, before yelling at the guards. "We'll deploy her alongside the four. Get ready to head out in an hour." The guards saluted, terrified looks on their faces. "Yes ma'am!"
