Hazel pov
I walk around the halls, imprinting everything in my mind, for this would be the last time I would be here, I walked to the garden which is my favorite place in the castle how I would miss it , I looked at the flowers and wished I could take them with me I looked around admiring the view one last time but I was secretly hoping I would find lord Henry here waiting for me.
" Hazel!"
My heart skipped a beat it couldn't be, I turned around, hoping it was lord Henry, but to my disappoinment,It was eve.
" Oh eve" I said trying not to sound too disappointed.
"My lady, where you expecting someone else?".
" No, I was just surprised to see you".
"Okay, here", she said giving me a letter.
" From who"? I ask staring at it.
" From lord Henry, my lady". lord Henry?,I quickly opened the letter to see what was written on it.
" DEAR HAZEL, I AM SORRY ABOUT LAST NIGHT, I AM SORRY IF I CROSSED YOUR LINE LAST NIGHT, BUT I DON'T REGRET IT HAZEL, AND IF I HAD THE POWER I WOULD WANT TO RELIVE THAT MOMENT AGAIN, TOMORROW YOU WOULD BE GETTING MARRIED AND I HOPE I CAN SEE YOU FOR THE LAST TIME, IN THE FOREST SOMEONE WOULD BE WAITING FOR YOU, FOLLOW HIM AND HE WOULD BRING YOU TO ME, I LOVE YOU HAZEL, ALWAYS.
I stared at the letter for a long time, and my heart ached if I wasn't getting married to the demon, marrying Henry would have been a dream come true, I held the letter tighter, and fought my tears back.
" My lady what's written in the letter". EVE asked looking at me consciously.
" Nothing much eve he just wished me a happy married life".I didn't want to lie but I didn't want eve asking about last night.
" Okay my lady if you say so,it's getting late you should be in bed your getting married tomorrow". Yeah I was and I should get rid of any funny thoughts in my head,me and Henry was a closed book and I should let it be,I folded the letter and held it.
"okay led the way". eve walked ahead of me I followed closely behind while still staring at the letter, getting to my room I fell on my bed,and watched eve leave I stare at the letter in my hands again and closed my eyes.
" Am sorry Henry, I hope you find someone else",I mumbled under my breath I wasn't going because I was scared, scared that I might be tempted to just run away with him so it was better I just stayed away, I got up from bed and walked to my window and stared at the sky that was slowly getting dark, I walked towards my closet and picked up a sleeping pill for I knew without them I wasn't getting any sleep,I took it and draged my heavy feet to the bed and slept on it,it didn't take long before the darkness pulled me
" My lady, my Lady, wake up, or you are going to be late for your wedding". I heard eve loud voice say.
" Oh eve just let me sleep so more".I mumbled and tried sleeping again, but eve won't let me she pulled my cover clothe away from my body.
" My lady you have less than an hour to get ready".
" For what eve"?.
" Your wedding!".
" My wed.....". Bloody hell today was my wedding,I completely forgot I got up but still felt dizzy thanks to the pill I took last night,I finally stood up and found five strange girls in my room .
" Eve who are they"?. I asked while trying to take off my clothes.
" They are here to help you get dressed".
" Okay, quickly eve or am going to be late".
" And whose fault will that be your highness". She was right it was a bad idea to take those pills last night. I rushed to the bathroom,and with eve's help and the five girls i haven't have time to know their names it didn't take long before I was put in a golden long grown, but not after much oil being applied to my body if I was thrown into a water I was sure I would cut right through it, they had combed my hair backwards, with beautiful hair pins in the shape of flowers, the makeup was perfect and I looked beautiful, the jewelries where okay for eve knew just what I liked I stared at my reflection at the mirror and suddenly felt nervous or was it fear?, I didn't know and I still felt dizzy.
" My lady , we are done" eve said.
" Okay," I tried to smile but failed.
Eve stared at me and gave me a smile that said everything was going to be okay, I stared at my reflection one last time, and then I heard a knock on the door and shortly after sky walked In.
" My lady it's time" he said I walked out with eve behind me and I still felt super dizzy and nervous I didn't know how I didn't fall on my face, but I was greatful I didn't, I got to the hall and gave the guard a nod to inform my presence, after a while he came back and then gave me a nod to walk in, I looked at eve and she gave me a reassuring smiled , before I left her behind to walk inside.
I walked in to the hall, and everyone gaze turned to me, that I didn't mind,i just smiled and walked towards my father's throne where my father sat with my mom by his side,I bowed and my father stared at me, as if asking me if I could really do this I smiled reassuring him I was fine, I turned to my mom and she muttered, "you look beautiful my love". I smiled and went to my seat while looking around hoping to see lord Henry, just then the guard announced the grooms presence, and suddenly my nervousness grew worse, what if what eve said was true about how they looked? Everyone's gaze turned towards the door and there he was, still in a black clothe that covered his entire face,he walked gracefully towards my father.
" Your majesty" . He said without bowing, now he was something.
" Alexander don't you think you should get rid of the clothe, I would love to see the face my daughter's getting married to" I heard my father said, and everywhere became silent, I watched him closely and I heard a faint chuckle and I knew it came from him,he lifted his hands and took the clothe off handing it over to his guard and turned towards me, and I couldn't believe my eyes.
