" What mark are you talking about"?.
" The demons mark my lady". I stared at her confused, wondering what she was talking about.
" Every non royal family has this mark including the wife's of the royal family and It looks like this" say this she rolled up her sleeve of her right hand and I saw a Star shaped mark on her arm.
" The mark enables the demons to be able to hear our thoughts if they wanted to,and even control our body, when someone thinks of betraying them the mark kills the person before he could even proceed with his plans". I heard melody say,and I just stared at the mark on Irene's arm and was shocked, why go to such length to control people.
" Can it be removed"? I asked.
" Yes my lady it can". Irene answered.
" Then why don't you get rid off it"?.
" My lady the mark is something only the royal family can remove, we can't remove it." Irene said.
" Does this mean I would get a mark like this?" I asked feeling scared at the thought of it, a mark that could make my thoughts opened to the demons hell non.
" Well my lady,you where supposed to get the mark before you are allowed into the castle,but you don't have it". This time melody spoke, I remember sleeping off in the carriage,was that the reason why my own mark wasn't given yet, a knock on the door interrupted my thoughts and a lady walked in.
" My lady, the royal family awaits you in the dining hall".
" Okay I would be there", I said and she turned and left, and I turned towards Irene
" Irene is there anything I should know about the royal family". I asked feeling scared.
" Well my lady, there's nothing much, the king could be frightening sometimes,oh and there's princess Lissa prince Levi's wife,she is always mean with her words and think every woman is after her husband, just because prince Levi is the first born and legally next In Line to the throne, and there's Ravina prince Samuel fiancee,she could be harsh sometimes but trust me she is an angel." I listened careful to all Irene said and I noticed she didn't say anything about the queen.
" And the queen"? I asked.
" Queen Elizabeth is dead". Melody answered.
" Oh" ,I wispered Alexander mom was dead.
" But, melody continued " queen Elizabeth isn't the birth mother of your husband my lady". Now I was confused what did she mean by that.
" Alexander mom is??? " I asked staring at melody.
" She was the kings concubine". Melody said. Concubine well I wasn't expecting that.
" So she would be in the dining hall"? I asked suddenly nervous at the thought of seeing her.
" No my lady".
" No?, why "?
" Because she's dead", Irene said.
" Dead? How? " I asked.
" Forgive me my lady but we can't say any further" , melody said and they lowered their gaze, and I decided not to push it any further.
" Okay lead the way to the dinning hall", I said and we walked through the halls and I couldn't stop admiring it, everything was extremely blinding, we walked forward and I saw a painting, It was a painting of a beautiful lady that was naked and a man that hugged her form behind, goodness why put a painting like this on the wall.
" She's the goddess of sex" I heard melody's voice say behind me, goodness even her name was embarrassing,I just walked forward pretending I didn't hear what melody just said. walking forward I saw much pictures like the first one, so I just kept my head low not wanting to stain my eyes again, I was more than grateful when we got to the dinning hall the gaurds opened the door and I walked inside and the first eyes I saw where Alexander's and I remember what happened this morning and I just looked away I couldn't face him, not after what went on this morning.
