Hazel pov
I woke up, woke up? I might have slept while crying, I got up walked towards my window and found out it was already dark, just how long have I been asleep, now what I needed was a bath and some food I was starving, I walked towards my door and just then eve walks in, she was always there when I needed her.
"My lady you are awake".
"Yes eve,and it was a long sleep but now I need a bath and some food".
"Already done my lady".
God how does she do that she always knew what I needed even before I did,she leds me to my bathtub, I take off my clothes and soak in it, God it was refreshing.
"My lady".
"Yes eve". I said while closing my eyes to let the water soak in.
"If I may ask is it true?".
"if What is ture?".
"That you are getting married to the demons prince in two days?". And that got me to open my eyes.
In two days?. That fast was he scared I would run off or what, and was it even possible to plan a wedding in two days.i looked at eve while she washed my feet, I was going to miss her.
"So I was told". I said and closed my eyes back, what could I do I couldn't fight it, it was my Faith to be sacrificed for my people someday it just came quickly,see being a princess wasn't all fun.
"and you agreed?"
" What can I do eve it's my dutie as a princess."
"But my lady it's the demons we are talking about I heard they have red eyes and sharp teeth like that of a lion". I just chuckled,way to go eve she just made everything worse.
"How could we be so sure eve I heard they always cover their faces who knows they might not be that bad".I was trying to convince my self otherwise.
"But my lady what about lord Henry?". I opened my eyes again, yeah what about him,
" I was a reward for him so maybe father would compensate him with something else".
"My lady you know am always here for you." I just smiled I knew she was, some minutes later I was done bathing,as usual she applied a lot of oil on my skin, after she was done I just picked a white short handless night ware, I let my hair down and had dinner, when I was done I wished eve good night before she left, but I found it hard to sleep so I took a book to keep myself busy, cause am sure I won't be sleeping anytime soon, hours into my book I heard something on my window I got up and walked towards it and found lord Henry there, what was he doing here at the dead of the night, I opened the window and he walked in.
"My lord... Is everything ok?" He just stared at me and then he walked closer to me and hugged me, I was shocked did something happen, I didn't know what to say or do.
"My.... my lord ... Are you alright?". I asked again, and this time he let me go.he holds my gaze and place his thumb on my lips.
" Do you love me hazel"?. Wait, what?,I wasn't expecting this kind of question, how was I supposed to answer that,I looked at him in the eyes and his eyes where begging me for something but what?, he leaned closer to me and placed his forehead on mine.
"Please say you love me hazel please".
"I .... I .... I....".
I didn't know what to say,love I didn't know if I loved him, bloody hell I didn't know how love felt like, and here he was asking me If I loved him, I looked at him, not knowing what to say now,he noticed my silence, moved back and stared into my eyes,and I couldn't look away,his blue sea eyes where really captivating he pulled me closer to him leaned over my head and whispered in my ears
"Run away with me hazel".
