"W-Wait!" The Princess panicked. "Miss Elisabeth! Killian is still there!"
Elisabeth continued to run her horse through the crowd, "Is he not a soldier?! Stop being his mommy. He will be fine!" She shouted in her reply.
The Princess held onto the saddle tightly and clenched her eyes shut. She wanted to let go of all her judgmental thoughts at this point. She just wanted Killian to be safe and sound.
When the crowd retreated far enough, they changed their route but kept their destination the same. Before moving on, Markus counted every one.
"Killian Schneider and Ranulf Ziegler are missing!" Markus informed everyone, "They are usually on guard duty. I am sure they are buying us time. We should not waste their efforts and head to Budapest while we still can."
"But what about them?" The Princess panicked.
"We will leave hints to show them our route." Markus suggested, "Does anybody have a belonging they wish to leave behind?"
